Flavorful Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

To make this Flavorful Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

2 ounces smoked Gouda cheese, shredded

4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 (2 1/4 inch thick) centre-cut, bone-in pork chops

1 teaspoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon salt

Ground black pepper

Directions:

1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat.

2. In a small bowl, combine the cheese, bacon, parsley, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.

3. Lay the chop flat on cutting board, and with a sharp knife held parallel to the board, cut a pocket into the pork, going all the way to the bone, but leaving the sides intact. Stuff cheese mixture into pocket, and close with a wooden toothpick. Brush meat with oil, and season with salt and more black pepper.

4. Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill over medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes on each side, or until pork is done. Careful not to overcook!

DELICIOUS PASTA POMODORO

To make this Delicious Pasta Pomodoro, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 (16 ounces) package angel hair pasta

1/4 cup olive oil

1/2 onion, chopped

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups Roma (plum) tomatoes, diced

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 (10.75 ounces) can low-sodium chicken broth

Crushed red pepper to taste

Freshly ground black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 minutes or until al dente; drain.

2. Pour olive oil in a large, deep skillet over high heat. Saute onions and garlic until lightly browned. Reduce heat to medium-high and add tomatoes, vinegar and chicken broth; simmer for about 8 minutes.

3. Stir in red pepper, black pepper, basil and cooked pasta, tossing thoroughly with sauce. Simmer for about 5 more minutes and serve topped with grated cheese.

To make this Tasteful Oregon Salmon Patties, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 (14.75 ounces) can salmon

2 tablespoons butter

1 medium onion, chopped

2/3 cup cracker crumbs

2 eggs, beaten

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 teaspoon dry mustard

3 tablespoons shortening

Directions:

1. Drain the salmon, reserving 3/4 cup of the liquid. Flake the meat. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, and cook until tender.

2. In a medium bowl, combine the onions with the reserved salmon liquid, 1/3 of the cracker crumbs, eggs, parsley, mustard and salmon. Mix until well blended, then shape into six patties. Coat patties in remaining cracker crumbs.

3. Melt shortening in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook patties until browned, then carefully turn and brown on the other side.

No-bake Chocolate Oat Bars

To make this No-bake Chocolate Oat Bars, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 cup butter

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups quick-cooking oats

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup peanut butter

Directions:

1. Grease a 9×9 inch square pan.

2. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and vanilla. Mix in the oats. Cook over low heat 2 to 3 minutes, or until ingredients are well blended. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Reserve the other half for topping.

3. Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in a small heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Pour the chocolate mixture over the crust in the pan, and spread evenly with a knife or the back of a spoon.

4. Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the chocolate layer, pressing in gently. Cover, and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours or overnight. Bring to room temperature before cutting into bars.

Ingredients:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 tablespoons lard

1 1/2 cups water

Directions:

1. Whisk the flour, salt, and baking powder together in a mixing bowl. Mix in the lard with your fingers until the flour resembles cornmeal. Add the water and mix until the dough comes together; place on a lightly floured surface and knead a few minutes until smooth and elastic. Divide the dough into 24 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.

2. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Use a well-floured rolling pin to roll a dough ball into a thin, round tortilla. Place into the hot skillet, and cook until bubbly and golden; flip and continue cooking until golden on the other side. Place the cooked tortilla in a tortilla warmer; continue rolling and cooking the remaining dough.

HEALTHY VEGETABLE LASAGNA

To make this Healthy Vegetable Lasagna, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 (16 ounces) package lasagna noodles

1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced

3/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

3/4 cup chopped onion

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 (26 ounces) jars pasta sauce

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 (15 ounces) container part-skim ricotta cheese

4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

2 eggs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

1. Cook the lasagna noodles in a large pot of boiling water for 10 minutes, or until al dente. Rinse with cold water, and drain.

2. In a large saucepan, cook and stir mushrooms, green peppers, onion, and garlic in oil. Stir in pasta sauce and basil; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.

3. Mix together ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella cheese, and eggs.

4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spread 1 cup tomato sauce into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer 1/2 each, lasagna noodles, ricotta mix, sauce, and Parmesan cheese. Repeat layering, and top with remaining 2 cups mozzarella cheese.

5. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.

1/2 cup of milk

1/2 cup of water

Directions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and the eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine. Add the salt and butter; beat until smooth.

To make this Tasty Vegan Chocolate Cake, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup white sugar

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar

1 cup of water

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease one 9×5 inch loaf pan.

2. Sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add the oil, vanilla, vinegar and water. Mix together until smooth.

3. Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
