Easy Pineapple Chicken Tenders

To make this Easy Pineapple Chicken Tenders, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 cup pineapple juice

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/3 cup light soy sauce

2 pounds chicken breast tenderloins or strips

Skewers

Directions:

1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, mix pineapple juice, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Remove from heat just before the mixture comes to a boil.

2. Place chicken tenders in a medium bowl. Cover with the pineapple marinade, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

3. Preheat grill for medium heat. Thread chicken lengthwise onto wooden skewers.

4. Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill chicken tenders 5 minutes per side, or until juices run clear. They cook quickly, so watch them closely.

Sweet Honey Bun Cake

To make this Sweet Honey Bun Cake, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 (18.25 ounces) package yellow cake mix

3/4 cup vegetable oil

4 eggs

1 (8 ounces) container sour cream

1 cup brown sugar

2 cups confectioners’ sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

4 tablespoons milk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, oil, eggs and sour cream. Stir by hand approximately 50 strokes, or until most large lumps are gone. Pour half of the batter into an ungreased 9×13 inch glass baking dish. Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the batter in the cake pan. Spoon the other half of the batter into the cake pan, covering the brown sugar and cinnamon. Twirl the cake with a butter knife or icing knife until it looks like a honey bun (or whatever design you want to make).

3. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Frost cake while it is still fairly hot. Serve warm.

4. To Make the frosting: In a small bowl, whisk together the confectioner’s sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth.

1-quart oil for deep frying

1 (16 ounces) package mozzarella cheese sticks

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, mix the eggs and water.

2. Mix the bread crumbs and garlic salt in a medium bowl. In a medium bowl, blend the flour and cornstarch.

3. In a large, heavy saucepan, heat the oil to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C).

4. One at a time, coat each mozzarella stick in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, then in the bread crumb and finally into the oil. Fry until golden brown, about 30 seconds. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.

Classic Pineapple Upside-down Cake

To make this Classic Pineapple Upside-down Cake, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

1 (20 ounces) can sliced pineapple

10 maraschino cherries

1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix

Directions:

1. Melt the butter over medium-high heat in the iron skillet. Remove from the heat and sprinkle the brown sugar evenly to cover the butter. Next, arrange pineapple rings around the bottom of the pan, one layer deep. Place a maraschino cherry into the center of each pineapple ring. Prepare the cake mix as directed by the manufacturer, substitute some of the pineapple juice for some of the liquid in the directions. Pour the batter over the pineapple layer.

2. Bake as directed by the cake mix directions. Cool for 10 minutes, then carefully turn out onto a plate. Do not let the cake cool too much or it will be stuck to the pan.

1 (3.4 ounces) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 (3.4 ounces) package instant butterscotch pudding mix

4 eggs

1 cup of water

1 cup of vegetable oil

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan, or a 10 inch Bundt cake pan.

2. In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix, vanilla pudding mix, and butterscotch pudding mix. Add the eggs, oil and water, mix until well blended. In another bowl, stir together the brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Pour half of the batter into the pan, spread evenly. Sprinkle with half of the nut mixture. Cover with the rest of the batter, and sprinkle with the rest of the nut mixture.

3. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, then turn the oven down to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes.

Melt in your Mouth Chocolate Mint Cookies

To make this Melt in your Mouth Chocolate Mint Cookie, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons water

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

3/4 cup butter

2 eggs

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

36 chocolate mint wafer candies

Directions:

1. In a large pan over low heat, cook butter, sugar and water until butter is melted. Add chocolate chips and stir until partially melted. Remove from heat and continue to stir until chocolate is completely melted. Pour into a large bowl and let stand 10 minutes to cool off slightly.

2. At high speed, beat in eggs, one at a time into chocolate mixture. Reduce speed to low and add dry ingredients, beating until blended. Chill dough about 1 hour.

3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

4. Roll dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake 8-10 minutes. While cookies are baking, unwrap mints and divide each in half. When cookies are brought out of the oven, put 1/2 mint on top of each cookie. Let the mint sit for up to 5 minutes until melted, then spread the mint on top of the cookie. Eat and enjoy!

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

3 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

1 red onion, cut into 1-inch squares

1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch squares

2 tomatoes, cut into wedges

Directions:

1. Slice the steak into 1/2-inch thick slices across the grain.

2. Whisk together soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and ginger in a bowl until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is smooth. Place the steak slices in the marinade, and stir until well-coated.

3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat, and place 1/3 of the steak strips into the hot oil. Cook and stir until the beef is well-browned about 3 minutes, and remove the beef from the wok to a bowl. Repeat twice more, with the remaining beef, and set the cooked beef aside.

4. Return all the cooked beef to the hot wok, and stir in the onion. Toss the beef and onion together until the onion begins to soften, about 2 minutes, then stir in the green pepper. Cook and stir the mixture until the pepper has turned bright green and started to become tender, about 2 minutes, then add the tomatoes, stir everything together, and serve.

Basic Bread and Celery Stuffing

To make this Basic Bread and Celery Stuffing, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 (1 pound) loaf sliced white bread

3/4 cup butter or margarine

1 onion, chopped

4 stalks celery, chopped

2 teaspoons poultry seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup chicken broth

Directions:

1. Let bread slices air dry for 1 to 2 hours, then cut into cubes.

2. In a Dutch oven, melt butter or margarine over medium heat. Cook onion and celery until soft. Season with poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in bread cubes until evenly coated. Moisten with chicken broth; mix well.

3. Chill, and use as a stuffing for turkey, or bake in a buttered casserole dish at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 40 minutes.
