Easy Fish Tacos

Easy Fish Tacos

To make this Easy Fish taco, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 egg

1 cup beer

1/2 cup plain yoghurt

1 lime, juiced

1 jalapeno pepper, minced

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon minced capers

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed

1/2 medium head cabbage, finely shredded

1-quart oil for frying

1 pound cod fillets, cut into 2 to 3 ounce portions

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 (12 ounces) package corn tortillas

Directions:

1. To make beer batter: In a large bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Blend egg and beer, then quickly stir into the flour mixture (don’t worry about a few lumps).

2. To make white sauce: In a medium bowl, mix together yoghurt and mayonnaise. Gradually stir in fresh lime juice until consistency is slightly runny. Season with jalapeno, capers, oregano, cumin, dill, and cayenne.

3. Heat oil in deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

4. Dust fish pieces lightly with flour. Dip into beer batter, and fry until crisp and golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Lightly fry tortillas; not too crisp. To serve, place fried fish in a tortilla, and top with shredded cabbage, and white sauce.

The Best Cinnamon Raisin Bread

To make this The Best Cinnamon Raisin Bread, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups milk

1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)

2 (.25 ounce) packages active dry yeast

3 eggs

1/2 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup margarine, softened

1 cup raisins

8 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons milk

3/4 cup white sugar

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions:

1. Warm the milk in a small saucepan until it bubbles, then removes from heat. Let cool until lukewarm.

2. Dissolve yeast in warm water, and set aside until yeast is frothy. Mix in eggs, sugar, butter or margarine, salt, and raisins. Stir in cooled milk. Add the flour gradually to make a stiff dough.

3. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface for a few minutes. Place in a large, greased, mixing bowl, and turn to grease the surface of the dough. Cover with a damp cloth. Allow rising until doubled.

4. Roll out on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle 1/2 inch thick. Moisten dough with 2 tablespoons milk. Mix together 3/4 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon, and sprinkle mixture on top of the moistened dough. Roll up tightly; the roll should be about 3 inches in diameter. Cut into thirds, and tuck under ends. Place loaves into well-greased 9 x 5-inch pans. Lightly grease tops of loaves. Let rise again for 1 hour.

5. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes, or until loaves are lightly browned and sound hollow when knocked. Remove loaves from pans, and brush with melted butter or margarine. Let cool before slicing.

Cheesy Egg and Sausage Casserole

To make this Cheesy Egg and Sausage Casserole, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 pound pork sausage

1 (8 ounces) package refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 eggs, beaten

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Directions:

1. Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.

2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

3. Line the bottom of the prepared baking dish with crescent roll dough, and sprinkle with crumbled sausage. In a large bowl, mix beaten eggs, mozzarella, and Cheddar. Season the mixture with oregano, and pour over the sausage and crescent rolls.

4. Bake 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

To make this Awesome Creme Brulee French Toast, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons corn syrup

6 (1-inch thick) slices French bread

1 1/2 cups half-and-half cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

5 eggs

1 teaspoon brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier(R))

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Mix in brown sugar and corn syrup, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Pour into a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. Remove crusts from bread, and arrange in the baking dish in a single layer. In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, half and half, vanilla extract, orange brandy, and salt. Pour over the bread. Cover, and chill at least 8 hours, or overnight.

To make this Soft and Chewy Gingerbread, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, then stir in the water and molasses. Tasteful Cream Cheese Squares

To make this Tasteful Cream Cheese Squares, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup margarine, melted

1/4 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch pan.

2. Press one can of the crescent rolls into the bottom of the prepared pan. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Spread over the crescent layer. Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and lay them on top of the cream cheese layer. Do not press down. Pour the melted margarine over the entire pan. Combine the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the top.

3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is crisp and golden.

1/2 cup sour cream

3/4 cup key lime juice

1 tablespoon grated lime zest
