FROZEN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH BALLS ARE THE SUMMER TREAT YOU DESERVE

This frozen dessert has been my all-time favorite sweet fix. No one can ever resist these cookie dough balls – sweet and the perfect summer treat for all ages. Beat the summer heat with these frozen balls, whip it up whenever, or freeze for later consumption. This soft and creamy treat will help you cool off from the summer heat whenever you need to. A refreshing treat that hits all the sweet spots.

Do you remember the time that frozen dessert started to boom all over the internet? People went crazy and everyone made their version. Because of the hype, I tried the simplest and quickest frozen dessert recipe I found. I never would have thought that this is going to be a real treat. And I never tried anything else. I have been making this Frozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls since the beginning and it never failed me. A huge hit always.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup butter, softened

1 ½ cups brown sugar, packed

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp water

2 cups all-purpose flour

¾ cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

¾ cup chopped walnuts, if desired

HOW TO MAKE FROZEN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH BALLS

Step 1: Cream the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl.

Step 2: You can add in the vanilla, water, flour, chocolate chips, and walnuts into the creamed mixture. Mix well until combined.

Step 3: With a small scoop of ice cream, scoop the dough onto the baking sheet or form bite-sized balls using your hands.

Step 4: Place the balls in the fridge to set for about 2 hours or until firm.

Step 5: When firm, transfer the balls into a resealable freezer bag and freeze.

TIPS:

Make the balls as big or tiny as you desire. There is no measurement to follow, it is all up to you.

You can even stick a toothpick into each ball to make a lollipop.

Yield: Makes one 8 X 8-inch dish

This buttery melt in your mouth shortbread has heavenly layers of graham crackers crust, cheesecake, apple filling, crunchy and sweet streusel drizzled with gooey caramel. A luscious dessert that is most loved by everyone.

INGREDIENTS

Crust:

1/4 cup butter, melted

3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs

2 tablespoons brown sugar

Cheesecake Filling:

1 egg

1/3 cup sugar

1 8oz. package cream cheese softened

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Apple Layer:

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 Granny Smith apple

Streusel Topping:

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup oats

1/4 cup flour

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Caramel Drizzle:

12 individually wrapped caramels

1 tablespoon heavy cream

OR salted caramel sundae topping

HOW TO MAKE CARAMEL APPLE CHEESECAKE BARS

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Using a cooking spray, grease an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.

Step 3: Add the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Using a fork, mix the crust ingredients well.

Step 4: Transfer the crust mixture into the greased baking dish. Making sure to gently press down the mixture in the bottom of the pan with your fingers.

Step 5: Add the cream cheese in a mixing bowl, and beat with an electric mixer for about 2 minutes until soft and smooth.

Step 6: Beat in the sugar, egg, and vanilla until completely combined and smooth.

Step 7: Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust and evenly spread.

Step 8: Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves in a medium bowl. Mixing well.

Step 9: Before adding the apple into the dry ingredients, peel it first, then, core, and dice into small pieces. Toss to coat.

Step 10: Evenly distribute the coated apples on top of the cheesecake layer.

Step 11: Combine well the brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, and melted butter in another medium bowl. Mix well until it formed a coarse meal. Then, sprinkle this over the apple layer.

Step 12: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes or until the streusel is golden.

Step 13: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool onto a wire rack at room temperature.

Step 14: Put in the fridge to set for an hour or more.

Step 15: To make the caramel drizzle: Put the caramels in a microwavable bowl. Melt until smooth on increments of 30 seconds making sure to stir in between. Let this cool for a bit before stirring in the heavy cream.

Step 16: Before serving, drizzle with the homemade caramel sauce or top with caramel sundae topping. Enjoy!

LOW CARB CRACK SLAW RECIPE

When I decided to eat healthily and lose weight, many suggested that I do low carb or Keto diet. And a friend gave me this recipe for a low carb crack slaw. This is perfect because it tastes amazing and it is low-carb. This cabbage stir-fry has been my go-to during the process. I immediately fell in love with this dish. A simple, super flavorful, low carb meal that I make for dinner every night. Healthy eating is never boring because of this excellent low carb crack slow.

INGREDIENTS (Cut in half for a single batch)

2 lbs. Ground beef or turkey (your choice on meat)

2 bags Dole (or other brands) Classic Cole Slaw Mix

4 Green Onion

3 tsp minced garlic (I used real garlic and cut up just a few slices, adjust to taste)

3 tbsp Soy Sauce (I used light soy sauce to taste, doesn’t have to be exact)

2 tbsp sesame oil

2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

2 tsp ground ginger

*Optional add a single-serve packet of Splenda. I did not but see that some do.

HOW TO MAKE LOW CARB CRACK SLAW

Step 1: Break the hamburger into pieces in the pan.

Step 2: Add the sesame oil, soy sauce, chopped up green onion, and chopped up garlic in another pan. Stir fry until tender before adding the cabbage, crushed red pepper, and ground ginger. Continue cooking until almost tender but the cabbage still has a bit of crunch to it.

Step 3: Drain any excess fat from the hamburger and add that into the pan along with the rest of the ingredients. Stir to incorporate. This is optional, but if desire you can add a splash of soy sauce for more flavor.

Step 4: Transfer into a serving plate. Serve and enjoy!

Easy Apple Pie Bread

It is almost the end of Apple season and I cannot still get over this Apple Pie Bread. I don’t normally eat apples but I love this bread. It has the goodness and freshness of apples not to mention it is a breeze to make. The ingredients if you noticed are just a few, making this bread easy to whip up. My kids though love apples the reason why I decided to give this recipe a try. And good thing I did because this exceeds my expectation. This bread has layers of delish brown sugar and pieces of fresh apples. A moist and sweet bread that you can make in the comfort of your home and better than the store-bought. Excellent for breakfast, snack, even dessert! If you love apple pie, I am one hundred percent sure that you’ll dig this dessert. Take advantage of the fresh fall apples and make them into something heavenly that your whole family will love. Bonus because your house will smell amazing when baking this. I can tell you a million things to urge you to try this but you have to experience it yourself. This is my go-to for a lazy afternoon alongside a freshly brewed coffee.

INGREDIENTS

1 can apple pie filling, mashed

1 yellow cake mix

4 eggs, slightly beaten

1 cup self-rising flour

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 medium chopped apple

How to make Easy Apple Pie Bread

Step 1: In a bowl, whisk the cake mix and self-rising flour.

Step 2: Add in the slightly beaten eggs and the apple pie filling. Mix well.

Step 3: Then, fold in the apples.

Step 4: Divide the batter into the 2 greased loaf pans.

TWICE BAKED POTATO CASSEROLE WITH BACON

This is the ultimate comfort food. Cheesy with a bit of crunch because of the bacon. And anything with bacon and cheese is love! Creamy potatoes with crumbled bacon, melty cheese, and a fabulous amount of sour cream make this dish stand out. This is super mouthwatering and outrageously delicious, you want to dig straight in! A palate-pleasing dish with the perfect combination of everything cheesy, tangy, and salty.

INGREDIENTS

2 large baking potatoes

1/2 pound lean bacon

3/4 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup milk

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon dried chives

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

3/4 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese

HOW TO MAKE TWICE BAKED POTATO CASSEROLE WITH BACON

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C.

Step 2: Then, grease a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.

Step 3: Using a toothpick, poke several holes into the potatoes.

Step 4: Place the potatoes inside the preheated oven and bake for about an hour or until completely cooked.

Step 5: Remove from the oven and allow the potatoes to cool for at least 15 minutes.

Step 6: In a large skillet, cook the bacon for about 10 minutes over medium-high heat while occasionally turning until evenly browned.

Step 7: Transfer the cooked bacon on paper towels to drain, then, crumble.

Step 8: Slice the potatoes into thin wedges from one side. Carefully scoop out the flesh, then, transfer into a bowl.

Step 9: Mix with potatoes the 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, sour cream, milk, butter, chives, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Step 10: Into the prepared casserole dish, transfer, and spread the potato mixture. Top it with 3/4 cup of cheddar cheese and the crumbled bacon.

Step 11: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until just bubbling.

Step 12: Take the casserole out of the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.

MOM’S FAMOUS CREAM PUFFS

Makes: approx 16

These fabulous cream puffs are perfect with a cup of tea. Or a freshly brewed coffee if you are me. I love how these cream puffs are light and airy. And they are fun to make not to mention easy and quick. A simple treat that looks like royalty and tastes magnificent! Whenever I have guests, I serve them these homemade cream puffs and they never fail to compliment how pretty and perfectly sweet this treat is. And the secret to all of these is the heavenly filling. A three-ingredient filling that makes these cream puffs stand out among the rest. The rich and decadent filling of these cream puffs is what makes this treat famous. These treats you can make a day ahead. Which is excellent if you have guests coming over early. Drizzle these puffs with chocolate or serve as is. No matter what, this is going to be awesome!

INGREDIENTS

1 stick butter (8 tablespoons)

1 cup of water

1 tsp vanilla

4 eggs

1 cup flour

MOM’S FAMOUS FILLING:

1-pint heavy cream

1 package (3.4 OUNCES) instant vanilla pudding

⅓ cup milk

HOW TO MAKE MOM’S FAMOUS CREAM PUFFS

Step 1: Bring to a boil the butter, water, and vanilla.

Step 2: Then, add in the flour while stirring continuously until the mixture leaves the sides of the pot and forms a ball.

Step 3: Remove from the heat and allow to cool.

Step 4: Beat in 4 eggs, a piece at a time until smooth.

Step 5: Onto parchment-lined cookie sheets, drop a tablespoon of the batter.

Step 6: Place inside the oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes at 400 degrees.

Step 7: Remove from the oven and let the puffs cool.

Step 8: To make the filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the cream, pudding powder, and milk until you get a consistency of whipped cream.

Step 9: Slice the puffs in half and spoon or pipe the filling in the middle.

Step 10: Then, dust each puffs with powdered sugar.

Step 11: Serve and enjoy!

This delicious little treat on a stick is fun to make. Easy and quick and is guaranteed a crowd-pleaser. You can serve this no matter the occasion and these minis will undoubtedly make the crowd go crazy.

My kids love corn dogs and this recipe for Mini Corn Dogs is what they are obsessing lately. I like these minis better than the full-sized corn dogs. Fun, kids friendly, and excellent when serving during get-togethers. These have that wow factor that impresses the crowd. Make sure to make a lot because these will be gone in a blink. INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup melted butter (or 1/4 cup butter + 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce)

1/4 cup Truvia Baking Blend

2 eggs

1 cup buttermilk (regular milk is fine)

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup cornmeal

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

8-10 all-beef hot dogs, cut into 1″ bites

HOW TO MAKE MINI CORN DOGS

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees.

Step 2: In a bowl, add the butter and sugar. Whisk to combine. Add in the eggs whisking to combine, then, stir in the buttermilk.

Step 3: Add the baking soda, cornmeal, flour, and salt in another bowl. Stir well to incorporate. Add this into the wet ingredients in two batches, whisking to incorporate.

Step 4: Using a non-stick spray, grease a mini muffin tin.

Step 5: Fill each muffin cup with 1 tablespoon of batter, then, put the hotdog in the center of every cup.

Step 6: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 8 to 12 minutes or until the cornbread is golden brown.

Step 7: Remove from the oven and allow the corn dogs to cool in the mini muffin tin for at least 5 minutes before serving.

Step 8: Refrigerate any leftovers and just re-heat for about 20 to 30 seconds when serving.

CHILI CHEESE DOG BAKE

Have an amazing dinner tonight with this outrageously mouthwatering Chili Cheese Dog Bake. Great for parties, gathering, potlucks, or as a rotation to your usual weeknight menu. With only a few simple ingredients, you can make this delicious dish in less than 30 minutes! This family-friendly dish is a huge hit always and the kids most requested. You are welcome to use leftover chilis for this recipe. Just make sure that the chili is hot. Serve this any time, any day. Pretty easy, quick, and insanely delicious! This is a must-try and to keep.

INGREDIENTS

1 can (14 to 15 oz) chili, heated

1 can Pillsbury™ refrigerated classic pizza crust

4 Cheddar cheese sticks

4 all-beef hot dogs

1 tablespoon butter

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes

HOW TO MAKE CHILI CHEESE DOG BAKE

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F.

Step 2: Grease with cooking spray a 9-inch square or a 2-quart 11 x 7-inch glass baking dish.

Step 3: Pour and evenly spread the hot chili into the prepared dish.

Step 4: Then, unroll the dough and slice into 4 equal strips. Slice a cheese stick in half lengthwise. Put one half cheese stick on the side of each hot dog, then, wrap the hot dog and cheese with the pizza dough, slightly overlapping in the middle. Do this with the rest of the dough strips, cheese sticks, and hot dogs.

Step 5: Put the wrapped hot dogs on top of the hot chili.

Step 6: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the dough is lightly golden brown.

Step 7: In the meantime, microwave the butter on high until melted. Then, stir in the garlic powder and parsley.

Step 8: Take the baking dish out of the oven and immediately brush the tops of the cheese dogs with the melted butter mixture.

Craving for peanut or peanut butter? Then, this dessert is what you are looking for. Easy, quick copy cat of the most loved payday candy bars. This sinfully delicious dessert is not fussy, easy on the wallet, and you can whip this up whenever. With all things nice – peanuts, peanut butter chips, and marshmallows, this is gonna be a huge hit always! I make this in batches just to make sure that I have enough when my family’s cravings hit. Loaded with peanuts, these sweet and salty bars are outrageously chewy and soft. The addicting crunch of these candy bars is out of this world. My kid’s favorite dessert bars that they never fail to brag to their friends. I have been making this for a long time even shared this recipe with friends and colleagues. And this Christmas, we thought of giving homemade gifts instead and this is on our list. Made with thousand salty peanuts, sweet-sticky, and gooey caramel, this homemade payday candy bars have balanced everything out.

INGREDIENTS

3 cups salted peanuts

2 cups peanut butter chips

2 cups mini marshmallows

1 (14 oz.) can sweeten condensed milk

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE PAYDAY CANDY BARS

Step 1: In a large saucepan, add the butter and peanut butter chips. Melt over medium heat and cook until smooth.

Step 2: Add in the condensed milk, vanilla extract, and marshmallows. Continuously stir until everything is combined and the texture is smooth.

This moist, sweet, and crowd-pleaser Texas Sheet Cake is undeniably delicious. My kids most requested cake on every occasion. Super chocolatey and a nice and quick sweet tooth fix. Satisfy your cravings with this heavenly cake. Don’t be overwhelmed by the list of the ingredients, trust me this is easier than you think. I have been receiving an insane number of requests to make this cake from friends, colleagues, and family. They love this cake so much and they can attest that this is the best chocolate sheet cake ever!

Ingredients :

Cake:

1 cup butter

1 cup of water

¼ cup of cocoa

2 cups of sugar

2 cups flour

⅛ teaspoon salt

2 eggs

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ cup sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla

Icing (recipe below)

Icing:

½ cup butter

¼ cup of cocoa

¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons milk

1 box (1 pound) confectioners’ sugar (sift it first to remove lumps – otherwise icing remains lumpy)

½ teaspoon vanilla

Chopped Pecans (optional)

HOW TO MAKE TEXAS SHEET CAKE

To make the cake:

Step 1: Add the butter, water, and cocoa in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the butter has melted, making sure to not cook for too long.

Step 2: Combine the sugar, flour, salt, eggs, and baking soda in another bowl.

Step 3: Carefully stir the butter mixture into the dry ingredients.

Step 4: Add in the sour cream followed by vanilla and mix thoroughly.

Step 5: Transfer the batter into a sheet cake pan or jelly roll pan.

Step 6: Place inside the oven and bake for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

For the icing:

Step 1: Combine the butter, cocoa, and milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Step 2: Quickly remove the pan from the heat and mix it with the confectioner’s sugar and vanilla.

Step 3: Using a mixer, combine well to remove lumps.

Step 4: While still hot, spread the icing over the sheet cake.

Step 5: For the chopped pecans, you have an option to mix those into the icing before you pour it over the cake or sprinkle on top of the icing or not include it.
