Dense, warm, and fudgy. This Toll House Chocolate Chip Pie is such an amazing pie that you can easily prep in fifteen minutes. This is my favourite for years and years to come. I love serving a slice of this pie with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delicious treat any time of the day.
This is a classic pie. The buttery batter is perfectly sweet with loads of chocolate chips and walnuts. The crackly top is very satisfying to look at. This pie is a head-turner, and every bite will surely melt everyone’s heart!

INGREDIENTS
2 Eggs
1 unbaked 9” deep-dish pie shell
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened to room temperature
1 c. chopped walnuts
Vanilla ice cream (optional but highly recommended, for serving)
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
How to make Toll House Chocolate Chip Pie
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 325 degrees. Using an unbaked pie crust, line a deep-dish pie plate. Crimp the edges and set them aside.
Step 2: Place the eggs in a mixing bowl. Beat on high speed until light and foamy. Now, add the flour and the sugars and beat again until well blended. Next, add the softened butter and mix further until fully incorporated.
Step 3: To the bowl, add the chocolate chips and walnuts. Fold until evenly combined. Then, into the prepared pie crust, spoon the batter.
Step 4: Place in the preheated oven and bake the pie for about 50 to 60 minutes or until a sharp knife inserted halfway through the edge and centre comes out clean. Remove from the oven when done and transfer the pie on a wire rack to set for about 30 minutes.
Step 5: Slice and serve the pie with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
