The BEST Tater Tot Casserole

With only a handful of ingredients, you’ll be able to pull off this easy and delicious dinner meal. Layers of incredible flavour mixed to make the Best Tater Tot Casserole!

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef (the leaner the better)

1/2 onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

15 ounces can green beans, drained

10.75 ounces can condense cream of mushroom soup

2 c shredded cheddar cheese

2 c frozen tater tots

salt and pepper to taste

How to make Tater Tot Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F.

Step 2: Use cooking spray to lightly grease a 9 or 9-inch baking dish and set aside.

Step 3: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.

Step 4: Saute the onions in the same skillet for about 4 to 5 minutes or until translucent.

Step 5: Add in the garlic and continue to cook, frequently stirring for a minute more.

Step 6: Add the Worcestershire sauce to the skillet and stir. To taste, season with salt and pepper.

Step 7: Place the ground beef mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading evenly.

Step 8: Top the ground beef mixture with cream of mushroom soup, green beans, and cheddar cheese. Note to season the green bean layer.

Step 9: And top the cheese with tater tots.

Step 10: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Step 11: When done, remove from the oven and serve immediately.
