Sweet and moist Cinnamon Roll Cake with cream cheese frosting

This perfectly sweet and impressively moist Cinnamon Roll Cake is moist, gooey, and delicious topped with the most heavenly Cream Cheese Frosting. In my opinion, this cake is way better than cinnamon rolls. If you have not tried this, you better do it because you are already missing out big time! Enjoy this decadent cake with a texture of a dense pastry for breakfast, dessert, or any time of the day!

Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup granulated sugar

1 1/2 cups milk

2 Eggs

1 stick melted butter

CINNAMON TOPPING:

2 stick butter (room temperature)

1 cup light brown sugar

2 tablespoons flour

1 tablespoon cinnamon

CREAM CHEESE GLAZE:

4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

4-6 tablespoons milk-mixed until desired consistency

How to make Sweet and moist Cinnamon Roll Cake with cream cheese frosting

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees. And using baker’s joy, grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Step 2: Combine the cake ingredients except for the melted butter. Once completely melted, gradually add in the melted butter and blend well. Then, into the prepared pan, transfer the cake batter.

Step 3: Using a beater, whisk the topping ingredients.

Step 4: On the entire cake, drop small mounds of the topping and swirl or marble using a butter knife. Do this very carefully as to not scrape the bottom of the pan.

Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes. When done, take the cake out of the oven.

Step 6: Meanwhile, combine the cream cheese glaze ingredients until you reached your desired consistency. Then, pour this on the cake while still slightly warm and let the glaze cool for at least 30 minutes.
