1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 pound Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage sliced ¼” thick
2 c. broccoli florets
1½ c. cooked brown rice (to save time, use minute rice)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
How to make Smoked Sausage & Rice One Skillet Meal
Step 1: Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and olive oil in it and allow it to melt.
Step 2: Once the butter has melted, add the sliced smoked sausages into the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until the sausage starts to brown.
Step 3: Add in the broccoli, cover, and adjust the heat to low. Cook the broccoli stirring occasionally for another 5 minutes.
Step 4: Add in, then stir to combine the cooked rice, garlic powder, and onion salt.
Step 5: Into the skillet, add the shredded cheese, stirring until melted.
Step 6: Take the skillet away from the heat. Serve the Smoked Sausage & Rice One Skillet meal warm. Enjoy!
