These sliders are worth getting messy for! It’s insanely tender, juicy, and flavorful. Only needs ten minutes to prep. The pork is flavoured with an incredible spice rub and sweet vinegar and slow cooks all day in a slow cooker. Serve on buns with some creamy coleslaw.

My husband is a huge fan but, I don’t even have any idea what is going on in a football game and I am only excited about all the good food to involve. Football season is so much better with tailgating parties and gatherings, right? And this Slow Cooker Sweet Carolina Pulled Pork Sliders is on the top of my menu list and the star of our football party.

Nothing beats the sweet and spicy flavour of these pulled pork sliders. And the meat simply falls apart when you take it out and shred it. Infused with so much flavour, plus the brown sugar adds a little sweetness that compliments well with the spices giving this the perfect balance of good!
Ingredients
5 lbs pork shoulder butt roast
3 tbsp brown sugar
3 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground mustard
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 large onion quartered
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp sugar
HOW TO MAKE SLOW COOKER SWEET CAROLINA PULLED PORK SLIDERS
Step 1: Mix the brown sugar, salt, paprika, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, ground mustard, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. On the entire pork, rub the mixture.
Step 2: To the slow cooker, place the pork and the onions along the sides. Add in the cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar.
Step 3: Cover the slow cooker, set it on low, and cook the pork for 12 hours.
Step 4: When done, shred the pork using two forks.
Step 5: Serve the pulled pork on buns and if desired, with some creamy coleslaw. Enjoy!
