My family loves Salisbury Steak so getting to know this easy Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak recipe is a huge game-changer. The beef patties are insanely flavorful (thanks to the simple yet tasty seasonings) and slowly cooked in a mouthwatering brown gravy. Salisbury steaks are perfect with just about anything! Serve this over mashed potatoes, rice, even alongside salad, corn, or green beans.

1 (10.5 ounces) can Beef Consommé
1/3 c. Red Wine
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 c. Ketchup
2 cloves Garlic, pressed or grated
To Thicken the sauce:
3-4 tablespoons Corn Starch
4 tablespoons Cold Water
How to make Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak
Step 1: Combine the egg, bread crumbs, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, thyme, ground beef, and ground sausage in a large bowl.
Step 2: Make 8 patties, place them on a plate, and set them aside.
Step 3: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium to medium-high heat.
Step 4: Cook the patties on each side until brown but not cooked all the way through. Transfer the patties to a plate.
Step 5: Discard the excess grease from the skillet before adding in the butter. Add the onions and saute until tender.
Step 6: In the crock, add the patties and the onion on top followed by the mushrooms.
Step 7: Whisk the beef consommé, wine, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and garlic in a 4 cup measuring cup until well combined. Then, pour this over the meat in the crock.
Step 8: Set on high and cook for 3 to 4 hours or 6 to 7 hours on low.
Step 9: Before the cooking time ends, whisk the cornstarch and water together until the cornstarch has dissolved. Then, stir this into the gravy. Continue to cook until the gravy has thickened.
Step 10: When done cooking, enjoy the Salisbury Steak immediately over rice or mashed potatoes.
