Fried chicken will never be out of the picture. Everywhere we go, in every place, they have their go-to recipes to make fried chicken. But for the kids, fried chicken will always be fried chicken.
This easy Oven “Fried” Chicken recipe is no exemption. Tender, juicy, and delicious fried chicken baked in the oven for easy clean-up and served with a simple Honey Mustard sauce. Or you can skip the sauce if desired and just stick to the gravy.

8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 large eggs beaten
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. organic bread crumbs
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper more or less, to taste
1/4 c. olive oil
1 c. organic unbleached all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp kosher salt more or less to taste
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
Honey Mustard Sauce:
1/4 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
How to make Oven “Fried” Chicken
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F. Using a non-stick spray, grease a sheet tray or line with parchment paper.
Step 2: To taste, season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Place the eggs and milk in a large bowl and whisk to combine. Then, in a large bowl, mix well the bread crumbs, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, oil, and salt and pepper.
Step 4: Into the flour, dip the chicken, then into the egg mixture, and coat in the bread crumb mixture.
Step 5: To the prepared baking sheet, place the chicken and bake in the preheated oven for about 35 to 40 minutes until the chicken is golden and cooked through.
Step 6: In the meantime, add the honey mustard sauce ingredients to a bowl and whisk.
Step 7: When done, remove the chicken from the oven and serve immediately with honey mustard sauce. Enjoy!
