These stick-to-the-bones Oven-Baked St. Louis Style Ribs are darn delicious. They are super tender, sticky, and worth getting your hands dirty! The ribs are covered in bbq sauce and baked to perfection. Whip this up all year round and use any of your favourite barbecue sauce.

INGREDIENTS

1 c. (or more if needed) Barbecue sauce of your choice

3-4 lb St Louis Ribs

Spice rub:

2 tablespoons paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon brown sugar

2 teaspoons dried oregano

1 tablespoon salt

2 teaspoons black pepper

How to make Oven Baked St Louis Style Ribs

Step 1: In a small bowl, combine the spice rub the ingredients. Sprinkle and rub on all sides of the ribs. Set the ribs aside for at least 15 minutes to absorb the spices.

Step 2: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F and position the oven rack in the middle.

Step 3: Using aluminium foil, wrap the ribs and place them on a baking sheet. Put in the preheated oven and bake for about 2 hours or a little less until tender.

Step 4: Take the foil, then brush the ribs generously with the barbecue sauce. Place the ribs back in the oven and resume baking for an additional 20 to 25 minutes until the sauce has warmed up and darker.

Step 5: Remove the ribs from the oven when done and slice them into individual servings. Enjoy!

NOTES:

If cooking on the grill, start by preheating the grill to 350 degrees F. Using aluminium foil, wrap the ribs and grill for about 60 minutes. Remove the wrap and brush the ribs with the barbecue sauce. Wrap again and continue to grill for another 15 minutes. Unwrap and brush the ribs once more with the sauce. Wrap it again with foil and cook for an additional 15 to 25 minutes or until the ribs are tender.
