MILLION DOLLAR SPAGHETTI

This Million Dollar Spaghetti is a dream come true. Creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavour, this spaghetti surely will make out hungry tummies happy!

INGREDIENTS

Cooking spray

1/2 c. finely diced onions

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 lb ground beef

2 tsp Italian seasoning, divided

3 c. marinara sauce, divided

1 lb spaghetti

Kosher salt, to taste (for the pasta water)

8 oz. cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 c. ricotta cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

2 c. mozzarella cheese

HOW TO MAKE MILLION DOLLAR SPAGHETTI

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Ready a 9 x 13-inch pan. Grease and set aside.

Step 3: Using cooking spray, grease a large saute pan and heat over medium-high heat.

Step 4: To the pan, saute the onion for about 3 minutes.

Step 5: Add in the garlic and saute for a minute more until aromatic.

Step 6: Add in the ground beef and cook until browned. Break the meat up as it cooks.

Step 7: Drain the excess grease, then add the beef back to the pan. Season with a tsp Italian seasoning. Pour in 2 cups marinara sauce and mix well. Set aside.

Step 8: In the meantime, cook the spaghetti according to package directions in well-salted water for about 3 minutes until al dente.

Step 9: Once cooked, drain the spaghetti and put it back to the pot. Mix with a cup of marinara sauce, then set aside.

Step 10: Place the cream cheese, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, and remaining teaspoon of Italian seasoning in a medium bowl. Mix well until combined.

Step 11: In the prepared 9 x 13-inch pan, place half of the spaghetti in an even layer.

Step 12: Over the spaghetti, evenly spread the cheese mixture.

Step 13: In one layer, add the rest of the spaghetti on top of the cheese.

Step 14: On top of the spaghetti, evenly spread the beef and sauce mixture and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

Step 15: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes until the top is golden brown. Optional, broil for about 2 to 3 minutes if you want it browner.

Step 16: Enjoy immediately.
