I am on a strict diet since I can remember! My doctor advised me to go easy on the food/drinks I take because of my health. At first, I was very sad and scared. Saying goodbye to all things I love especially food is something I never thought I’d have to do. I love to eat! I go to places to simply eat. But after the devastating news, I didn’t know where to begin. Fast forward, a friend introduced me to a lot of low-carb, diet-friendly recipes. A bit hesitating at first, I tried these Low Carb Pizza Breadsticks. I have a huge love for pizzas so this is my first pick. I never thought that I can enjoy the flavours of a pizza without the carbs! Men, this is so good! And it’s super easy to prepare. Plus, it requires only five ingredients! What more can I ask for?
Ingredients
1 c. shredded mozzarella
1 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
6 slices of pepperoni (or more)
HOW TO MAKE LOW CARB PIZZA BREADSTICKS
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.
Step 2: With parchment paper, line a baking sheet.
Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except the pepperoni slices (shredded mozzarella, shredded Parmesan cheese, egg, and Italian seasoning).
Step 4: On the parchment paper, spread out the mixture thinly to form a pizza crust, then top with the pepperoni slices and more Italian seasoning.
Step 5: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes.
Step 6: Broil for a couple of minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
Step 7: Into sticks, slice the pizza before serving. Enjoy!
