I love to cook. Ever since I learned how to open the stovetop and oven, I knew that I will enjoy cooking. My mom is a fantastic cook. She’s not a pro, but she knows how to turn even the simplest meal into a restaurant-quality dish! My dad said that I got my talent from her. When I moved out, my mom gave me her recipe book. It’s a collection of her favourite recipes. That recipe book has become my precious procession. Now that I have a family of my own, I make sure to cook homemade meals for them just like my mom. In her recipe book, I marked my favourite recipes, and this French onion potato bake is one of them. It is not only delicious, but it takes little effort to make.
