Ingredients

1/4 c. olive oil

8 ounces linguine or other pasta

1/4 c. butter (half stick)

1 pound defrosted large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon lemon juice or 2 tablespoons white wine (optional)

1 package McCormic® Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi Seasoning Mix

How to make Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi

Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the pasta until al dente. Drain the pasta when done.

Step 2: In the meantime, add the oil and butter to a large skillet. Melt the butter over medium heat, then add the shrimp and Seasoning Mix. Cook and stir for approximately 3 to 4 minutes or until the shrimp are pink. If desired, add the lemon juice or wine. Stir well.

Step 3: Lastly, add the cooked pasta and toss to coat well.

Step 4: Before serving, sprinkle the scampi with grated Parmesan cheese (optional). Enjoy!
