This is a fabulous dish that fires up the internet. I found this last year and I cannot figure how many times I’ve made it already. Served this first on New Year’s eve and it was a blast! Everyone loves this pork tenderloin with the most scrumptious brown sugar balsamic glaze. And being this a crockpot recipe, this sure is a no-fuss to make. The ingredients are only a few and are readily available so whenever you feel like serving this amazing dish, you can!
To get that beautifully caramelized crust, brush the pork loin with the glaze at least two to three times. Juicy, tender pork loin and to top it off, a sweet luscious glaze made from simple ingredients from brown sugar, cornstarch, balsamic vinegar, water, and soy sauce. This sure is an easy meal with huge flavour! And a mouthwatering crockpot dish to keep!
Ingredients
1 2-pounds pork loin
1 tsp ground sage
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp soy sauce
How to make Crockpot Brown Sugar Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloin
Step 1: In a small bowl, place the sage, salt, pepper, and garlic. Mix well until combined.
Step 2: Rub the mixture on the entire roast.
Step 3: In a slow cooker with half a cup of water, add the roast.
Step 4: Set on low and cook for 6 to 8 hours.
Step 5: In a small saucepan, combine the glaze ingredients (brown sugar, cornstarch, balsamic vinegar, water, and soy sauce) about an hour before the cooking time ends. Heat until the mixture has thickened, stirring.
Step 6: During the last hour of cooking, brush the roast with the glaze 2 to 3 times.
Step 7: When done, serve the pork tenderloin with the rest of the glaze. Enjoy!
