This is an amazing copycat that you can easily make to impress everyone around the table! The best part is, this Honey Baked Ham is easy on the wallet and incredibly good!

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter, melted

8 pounds bone-in spiral-sliced half ham

3 tablespoons honey

1 1/2 c. granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon paprika

pinch of allspice

1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

How to make Copycat Honey Baked Ham

Step 1: If needed, trim the ham, then place it in a slow cooker.

Step 2: Massage the combined melted butter and honey on the ham, getting it in between the slices. Put the lid on and set to cook the ham for 5 hours on low.\

Step 3: Preheat the broiler to high at the end of cooking time. Using heavy-duty aluminium foil, line a roasting pan.

Step 4: In a small bowl, place the sugar, seasoned salt, onion powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, ground cloves, paprika, and allspice. Mix well until blended. Over the ham, pat half of this mixture.

Step 5: Place in the broiler for a few minutes until bubbly and caramelized. When done, remove the ham from the oven.

Step 6: Add the rest of the sugar mixture to a small saucepan. Add 3 tbsp of water or ham juices from the slow cooker. You can also add a combination of water/ham juice and bourbon if desired. Mix well and bring to a boil. Let the mixture boil for a minute, then take the pan off the heat.

Step 7: You can either brush the glaze over the ham or pour it over. Return the ham to the oven and broil it again for another minute or two. Remove from the oven when done and allow the ham to rest for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Step 8: Serve the Honey Baked ham warm or cold. Enjoy!
