Ingredients

Chocolate Custard Horns:

1 sheet puff pastry

egg, beaten

2 bars chocolate

Chocolate Custard:

2 Egg yolks

20 g. sugar

15 g. flour

200 c. milk

1 bar chocolate

10 g. unsweetened cocoa

How to make Chocolate Custard Horns

Chocolate Custard Horns:

Step 1: Once the pastry sheets are thawed, divide them into half-inch strips. Around the forms, wrap the strips, overlapping while wrapping. Then, brush them with the beaten egg.

Step 2: Place in a 200 degrees C preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes.

Step 3: In the meantime, melt 2 chocolate bars. Set aside once melted.

Step 4: Into the pastry horns, pipe the chocolate custard. Then, into the melted chocolate, dip one end. Before serving, allow it to harden on parchment paper.

Chocolate Custard:

Step 5: In a bowl, combine 2 egg yolks with 20 grams of sugar. Mix well until incorporated. Sift in the flour and unsweetened cocoa. Stir well until mixed. In small increments, add the milk, whisking in between. Using plastic wrap, tent the bowl and place in the microwave set at 600 watts for about 2 minutes.

Step 6: While the mixture is still hot, break in the chocolate and whisk using a wire whisk until melted. Then, microwave for another 2 minutes.

Step 7: Place the mixture in the fridge once cool enough to handle and chill until thick and smooth. Then, into a piping bag, transfer the mixture.
