A scrumptious, mouthwatering appetizer is excellent for a big crowd. Pair this with beer for the adults or soda pop for all ages!

INGREDIENTS

3 tbsp (45 grams) Butter (approximately, melted

1-2 cloves (1-2 cloves) garlic, minced

1 can (1 can) refrigerated crescent dough sheet

8 (8 ) hot dogs

8 slices (8 slices) American cheese or 3/4 c. shredded cheese

1-2 cans (1-2 cans) (15.5 ounces each) chilli, depending on how much chilli you like

fresh parsley for garnish

HOW TO MAKE CHILI CHEESE CRESCENT HOT DOG BAKE

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F. After rinsing the hot dogs, pat them dry.

Step 2: Roll the crescent dough out, then divide it into 8 equal squares.

Step 3: Around 1 hot dog, roll 2 slices of cheese. Then, around the cheese/ho dog, roll a square of crescent dough. Do this for the rest of the hot dogs. Press the crescent dough seams gently.

Step 4: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter. In a pan, add the hot dogs, spacing the pieces out enough to leave room for the chilli later. Then, brush the top of the dough with garlic butter, keeping the rest aside.

Step 5: Tent the hot dogs with foil and place them in the preheated oven to bake for approximately 35 minutes. Uncover, then add the chilli around the base of the hot dogs. Return to the oven and resume baking for additional 10 minutes or until golden brown and the chilli has been heated through.

Step 6: Remove from the oven when done and serve. You can brush the rest of the garlic butter on top of the dough for extra garlic butter goodness, then top with parsley. Enjoy!
