Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burgers

by Rebecca December 28, 2021

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 15 mins | Total Time: 25 mins | Servings: 6 (Makes 6-8 patties)

These cheddar ranch chicken burgers take under thirty minutes to throw together. It’s an awesome meal perfect with fries or a simple side salad. My kids are obsessed with these burgers, and I can understand why. The juicy and flavorful chicken with ranch seasoning mix and cheddar cheese sandwiched in buns. And for that ultimate burger, you can add your favourite veggies aside from the bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch dressing.

If you love chicken burgers, then this recipe is a must. It’s a simple burger recipe to add to your recipe collection. You can even make these chicken burgers with different flavours. This is also a nice substitute for regular beef burgers. Honestly, I love chicken burgers more as they are juicer and more flavour-packed.

Ingredients

1 Egg

2 pounds ground chicken

1/2 c. finely shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 c. plain bread crumbs

3 garlic cloves smashed and minced

1-ounce ranch seasoning mix

1/2 c. finely diced onion

How to make Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burgers

Chicken Burger Patties:

Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients (egg, ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, plain bread crumbs, garlic, ranch seasoning mix, and diced onion) until completely blended.

Step 2: With parchment paper, tent the baking sheet or a large cutting board, then form the burger patties. Make sure to shape the patties first before cooking the burgers. This way, you can cook the burgers at the same time.

Step 3: On medium heat, preheat a large cooking pan. Drizzle with oil, then cook the burgers for about 6 to 8 minutes per side. Note that the cooking time varies depending on the size of the burgers.

To Make the Burgers:

Step 4: To assemble the burger, ready the buns, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch dressing. If desired, you can add your favourite veggies, too.
