Simple Crock-pot Stuffing

“If you’re hosting a big Thanksgiving dinner this year, add this simple crock-pot stuffing to your menu to ease in entertaining. This is an easy way to make ‘extra’ stuffing for a large crowd, saving stove space because it cooks in a slow cooker. Very tasty and moist!”

Simple Crock-pot Stuffing

To make this Simple Crock-pot Stuffing, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 cup butter or margarine

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

12 ounces sliced mushrooms

1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

2 cups chopped celery

1 1/2 teaspoons dried sage

12 cups dry bread cubes

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram

2 cups chopped onion

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

4 1/2 cups chicken broth, or as needed

2 eggs, beaten

Directions:

1. Melt butter or margarine in a skillet over medium heat. Cook onion, celery, mushroom, and parsley in butter, stirring frequently.

2. Spoon cooked vegetables over bread cubes in a very large mixing bowl. Season with poultry seasoning, sage, thyme, marjoram, and salt and pepper. Pour in enough broth to moisten, and mix in eggs. Transfer mixture to slow cooker, and cover.

3. Cook on High for 45 minutes, then reduce heat to low and cook for 4 to 8 hours.

JUICY BAKED CROCKPOT CHICKEN

To make this Juicy Baked Crock-Pot Chicken, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 (2 to 3 pounds) whole chicken

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon paprika
Directions:

1. Wad three pieces of aluminium foil into 3 to 4 inch balls, and place them in the bottom of the slow cooker.

2. Rinse the chicken, inside and out, under cold running water. Pat dry with paper towels. Season the chicken with the salt, pepper and paprika, and place in the slow cooker on top of the crumpled aluminium foil.

3. Set the slow cooker to High for 1 hour, then turn down to Low for about 8 to 10 hours, or until the chicken is no longer pink and the juices run clear.

Easy Crock-Pot French Dip

To make this Easy Crock-Pot French Dip, You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Ingredients:

4 pounds rump roast

1 (10.5 ounces) can beef broth

1 (10.5 ounces) can condense French onion soup

6 French rolls

1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer

2 tablespoons butter

Directions:

1. Trim excess fat from the rump roast, and place in a slow cooker. Add the beef broth, onion soup and beer. Cook on Low setting for 7 hours.

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

3. Split French rolls, and spread with butter. Bake 10 minutes, or until heated through.

4. Slice the meat on the diagonal, and place on the rolls. Serve the sauce for dipping.

1 (14 ounces) can beef broth

3 pounds boneless pork ribs

1 (18 ounces) bottle barbeque sauce

Directions:

1. Pour can of beef broth into a slow cooker and add boneless pork ribs. Cook on High heat for 4 hours, or until meat shreds easily. Remove meat, and shred with two forks. It will seem that it’s not working right away, but it will.

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Transfer the shredded pork to a Dutch oven or iron skillet, and stir in barbeque sauce.

3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until heated through.
