SNICKERS CARAMEL APPLE SALAD

Dessert in a salad? I want it, please! I don’t know about you guys but I am feeling a little experimental today. Thus, this recipe I found a few days ago that calls for my favorite – Snickers, caramel, and apples. I am obsessed with this. It was like love at first bite. This dessert hits all the sweet spots. This has a snickers bar which I love so much, with apples, cool whip and to top this up, caramel ice cream topping. Yum! Super addictive, insanely delicious with that fresh apple crisp. Whenever I serve this, it is gone in a flash. I am left with nothing but empty plates. Creamy, perfectly sweet with crisp apple bites – all that I am asking for in a dessert. This is a dream come true for me. Satisfy your sweet cravings with this insanely delish, crowd-pleaser, and to die for dessert salad.

Make sure to not miss this recipe. Try this the next chance you get and I am pretty sure that your kids will go nuts! I served this last night to friends and they went overboard. They finished everything in a blink and it rained praises last night. We could not ask for anything more! This Snickers Caramel Apple Salad is here to keep.

INGREDIENTS

6 regular size Snickers candy bar

6 apples

1 (5 oz) Package of vanilla instant pudding dry

½ cup of milk

1 (12 oz) tub cool whip

½ cup of caramel ice cream topping

HOW TO MAKE SNICKERS CARAMEL APPLE SALAD

Step 1: In a bowl, mix the vanilla pudding and milk. Mix well until thoroughly combine and allow to cool.

Step 2: Chop the apples and snickers, then, add them into the pudding mixture.

Step 3: Transfer into a large serving bowl. Drizzle with caramel ice cream topping and place in the fridge to set for about an hour or so.

Step 4: Serve and enjoy!

A light and fluffy crab cakes straight from the Old Bay. Whip this up in 30 minutes with just a few simple ingredients you can find in your pantry. A packed and delicious crab cakes that you can serve alongside anything. Excellent addition to your weekly menu that your whole family will love. Such pretty golden brown cakes that you can easily and quickly make at any time and any day. My mom used to make these when I was young and I remembered asking her how did she manage to make such pretty cakes. When I was old enough, she taught me this and gave me her recipe. Her recipe contains a baking powder which makes these crab cakes airy light and super fluffy. Which is amazing and what I prefer. My family’s number one favorite – simple, not fussy, and tastes amazing! If you are feeling a little boring, spice this up by adding chili flakes like what I do most of the time.

INGREDIENTS

2 slices dried bread, crusts removed

1 tbs. milk

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon parsley flakes

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 egg, beaten

1 pound lump crabmeat

vegetable oil

HOW TO MAKE ORIGINAL OLD BAY CRAB CAKES

Step 1: Break the bread into little pieces, then, put them in a large bowl. Add milk to moisten the pieces of bread.

Step 2: Stir in the mayo, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, baking powder, Old Bay, salt, egg, and crabmeat.

Step 3: Lightly combine and form into 4 pieces of patties.

Step 4: Place inside the fridge for at least 30 minutes to ensure that the patties stay in pieces when cooking.

Step 5: Pour about 1/4-inch of vegetable oil in the frying pan. Heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, put the patties and fry until both sides are golden brown. You can flip the patties every minute to avoid over frying.

HEALTHY TACO STUFFED TOMATOES

This stuffed tomato looks like a crown. Beautifully made and tastes amazing! All you need are a few simple ingredients that you might already have on hand and easy to follow steps to make this gorgeously delicious and healthy taco stuffed tomato. This recipe is a great spin on your regular taco and tomato. Say goodbye to boring tomatoes and welcome this unconventional taco stuffed tomatoes. I am pretty sure that everyone will be amazed and will go crazy over this masterpiece. Serve your traditional taco differently and enjoy taco nights with this outrageously mouthwatering dish. All the same flavor but better. Simple, not fussy, yet artistically made to enjoy the end of summer meal. I say thanks to whoever thought of this. This is plain genius and tasty.

When I first served this, my kids went nuts. They all said “wow” in unison and it’s amazing! This has been the most sought after during taco nights. And I can’t complain because this is simply superb.

INGREDIENTS

4 – 6 large tomatoes1 pound ground beef

2 tablespoons taco seasoning

4 cups spinach, chopped

1/2 cup corn *fresh or frozen

1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese *optional

1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped

HOW TO MAKE HEALTHY TACO STUFFED TOMATOES

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees.

Step 2: First, slice the top of the tomatoes, then, scoop all the pulp out. Transfer the tomatoes in a baking dish.

Step 3: In a large saute pan, add the ground beef and cook until brown. Then, add in the taco seasoning.

Step 4: Stir in the spinach and corn. Continue to cook until the spinach is wilted and all the ingredients are completely mixed.

Step 5: Stuff with the beef mixture of the tomatoes.

Step 6: Then, sprinkle over the cheese.

Step 7: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Step 8: Remove from the oven and top with cilantro before serving. Enjoy!

STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE ICEBOX CAKE

This heavenly, perfectly sweet with fresh strawberries no-bake dessert is nothing but love! Layers of goodness in one gorgeously delish cake. A decadent dessert that is perfect to serve to picnics and barbeque. This is an amazingly light summer dessert that is most loved by many. Yet another of the many fabulous no-bake desserts that I am madly in love with. Graham crackers, cheesecake pudding, and fresh strawberries beautifully layered to make this refreshing Strawberry Cream Cheese Icebox cake.

INGREDIENTS

2 lb. strawberries

2 sleeves graham crackers

1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, room temperature

1 14 oz. can sweeten condensed milk

2 3.4 oz. pkg. instant cheesecake flavored pudding

3 cups of milk

1 12 oz. carton whipped topping, divided

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE ICEBOX CAKE

Step 1:Wash the strawberries, then, cut off the tops. Slice the strawberries into 1/4-inch thick. Set aside.

Step 2: With graham crackers, line the bottom of a 3-quart 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Set aside.

Step 3: In a large bowl, add the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. Using a mixer, beat until smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Add in the pudding mixes, then, the milk and beat continuously for about 4 to 5 minutes on low speed until the mixture begins to thicken before folding in 2 cups of whipped topping.

Step 5: Spoon half of the cream mixture on top of the graham crackers.

Step 6: Over the cream cheese mixture, arrange a single layer of the sliced strawberries. Then, top them with one more layer of graham crackers. Pour the rest of the cream cheese mixture over the graham.

Step 7: Lastly, another layer of strawberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.

Step 8: Place inside the fridge, covered, for about 6 to 8 hours.

Step 9: When ready to serve, top with the rest of the whipped topping.

Step 10: And crush the rest of the graham crackers. Sprinkle on top of the whipped topping.

Just finished making this recipe and it tastes superb! My kids loved this so much and they are asking for it again tomorrow. I served these lovely chicken alongside mashed potatoes and it’s a huge hit! This is by far the ultimate fried chicken batter recipe I stumbled upon. A classic southern batter recipe that is a keeper and a must-have. Super flavorful with the perfect crunch – dress your chicken in a mouthwatering batter. Thanks to this excellent fried chicken batter for the tastiest, spiciest, crispiest homemade fried chicken my family has ever tasted. Serve this cold or hot, no matter because it’ll be amazing either way. This is a simple and reliable recipe that you’ll always go back to. A must-have and to keep. Try this and taste for yourself. My family rate this 5 stars always, but I believe this recipe deserves more.

INGREDIENTS

750 g skinless chicken

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup whole milk

1 cup of vegetable oil

2 cups flour

1 tbsp chili powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tbsp soy sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

HOW TO MAKE SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN BATTER

Step 2: In another bowl, add the milk and the eggs. Whisk well to combine.

Step 3: Place the flour, chili and garlic powder, paprika, 2 tablespoons salt, and pepper in a zip-lock bag. Secure the bag and shake to combine.

Step 4: Add the chicken pieces in the bag and shake it again.

Step 5: Place in the fridge to soak all the flavors, preferably overnight.

Step 6: When ready to cook, first dip the pieces of chicken in the milk, soy sauce, and egg mixture. Place the chicken in heated oil and cook until brown.

Step 7: Remove from the oil and transfer on paper towels to drain.

Step 8: Serve the chicken alongside a vegetable side dish.

This is another of my favorite chicken recipe. A four-ingredient dish that you can make whenever. All the amazing flavors just burst inside your mouth. A mouthwatering and super delicious dish that is perfect as is or alongside your preferred side dish or rice. Savory, tender chicken pieces with an appetizing glaze. A perfect addition to your weekly menu and is great to bring to potlucks or serve during the gathering. You can even make this ahead, just refrigerate. It tastes so much better when you let it rest for some time as the flavors soak in the chicken thighs. And when you bake it, you are guaranteed a very tender, outrageously delicious, super savory, mouthwatering chicken thighs in the world! My family is crazy over this dish and this has been the most requested. I make it three times in a week and serve it alongside my family’s preferred side dish like rice, roasted potatoes, or beans. This recipe says 8 chicken thighs but I double the recipe because 8 is not enough! This dish is so good my kids want this all for themselves.

INGREDIENTS

8 chicken thighs (you can use the whole chicken or other parts)

1 package of dry French onion soup mix

1 (8 oz) bottle of Russian dressing

1 small jar of apricot preserves

HOW TO MAKE 4 INGREDIENT DISH

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees.

Step 2: Add the dry onion soup mix, the Russian dressing, and the apricot preserves. Mix well.

Step 3: Arrange the pieces of chicken in a baking pan. Season the chicken with pepper and pour the sauce over. Coat the chicken pieces well.

Step 4: Place inside the preheated oven and roast the chicken for about an hour or an hour and 15 minutes depending on the chicken used.

Step 5: Making sure to baste a couple of times while cooking.

Step 6: Serve and enjoy!

KNOCK YOU NAKED BARS

My ultimate love – caramel, chocolate, and peanut butter. Thus, this amazing recipe! I fell madly in love with this recipe because I knew when I first saw it that it’ll be good. And this did not fail me. One bite of these gooey caramel stuffed bars with a whiff of peanut butter and chocolate and I know that I found my match.  For me, anything with peanut butter, caramel, and chocolate is heaven! And this dessert bar hits all the sweet spots. This is the perfect dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth and cravings. A keeper and to die for!

INGREDIENTS

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 eggs

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

For the Caramel Sauce:

5 oz evaporated milk

1 bag (14 oz) caramels

1/2 cup peanut butter

HOW TO MAKE KNOCK YOU NAKED BARS

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees.

Step 2: Then, grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Step 3: In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Step 4: In a large mixing bowl, add the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add the eggs in, a piece at a time, beating well every after each addition.

Step 5: Slowly add in the flour mixture. Mix well before stirring in the chocolate chips.

Step 6: In the prepared pan, spread half of the cookie dough.

Step 7: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 8: Meanwhile, in a double boiler, melt the caramels with the evaporated milk. when melted, add in the peanut butter. Making sure to melt thoroughly.

Step 9: Remove the cookie dough base from the oven and spread over the caramel-peanut butter mixture.

Step 10: Drop by spoonfuls the rest of the unbaked cookie dough over the caramel mixture.

Step 11: Put inside the oven and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

APPLE CINNAMON CHIMICHANGAS

This is an excellent dessert that you can whip up in a heartbeat and that you can easily make in batches. A pretty simple, not fussy dessert that needs only four essential ingredients. Deep-fried Chimichangas that your whole family will enjoy. This dessert hits all the sweet spots. A classic flavor combo that has been passed around for ages. My mom made these for me many times before and I never thought that I will be making these for my kids too. It is a fun dessert to make. My 7-year-old love helping me out and we both enjoyed the process. The tortillas are filled with apple pie filling and are deep-fried in hot vegetable oil and rolled in cinnamon sugar. A quick fix for the sweet tooth. I serve these sweet rolls a lot when I have guests. And they never fail to compliment how delicious these Chimichangas are. If all else fails, you can always pull this recipe out of your pocket. This recipe is to keep. So make sure to pin this and not lose this. You’ll never know. Give this a try and I promise, your family will crave this over and over again.

INGREDIENTS

1 can apple pie filling

Vegetable oil for frying

1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (you can mix a tbsp of cinnamon with 3 tbsp of granulated sugar)

flour tortillas (15 of 6 inches)

HOW TO MAKE APPLE CINNAMON CHIMICHANGAS

Step 1: Drizzle the oil in a large deep skillet and heat over medium heat.

Step 2: Meanwhile, on each tortilla, scoop about 1/4 cup of the apple pie filling. Roll each tortilla like a burrito.

Step 3: Once the oil is hot, place the tortillas seam-side down in the skillet. Fry the tortilla until browned and crispy.

Step 4: Then, roll the cooked chimichangas in cinnamon sugar.

NOTE:

I recommend using caramel use as your topping. It works great with chimichangas.

ITALIAN CHRISTMAS COOKIES

Christmas is just around the corner. 100 days before Christmas and we are all thinking about what kind of celebration we’ll have. It is not gonna be the same because of the Pandemic but I will make sure to enjoy every bit and piece of it. And what’s best to give my kids a merry Christmas rather than these Italian Christmas Cookies. A freezer friendly, perfectly sweet, decorated cookies that are great as homemade giveaways and most enjoyed by kids and the kids at heart. These cuties are super easy to make, you can even ask your kids to help out. I am sure they’ll enjoy making these as much as eating them.

INGREDIENTS

4 eggs

1 cup of sugar

1/2 cup butter

2 tsp. vanilla

3 1/2 cup flour

4 tsp. baking powder

For the Icing:

2 cup sifted confectioner’s sugar

2 tsp. vanilla

6 tsp. water

HOW TO MAKE ITALIAN CHRISTMAS COOKIES

Step 1: In a bowl, sift the flour and baking powder.

Step 2: In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add in the eggs, beating every after each addition. Then, the vanilla and the dry ingredients. Beat well.

Step 3: Knead the dough. Add as much flour as you need to keep the dough from sticking to your hands. Pinch off the dough, form a log by rolling it in your hands, and twist the dough into shape.

Step 4: Transfer them on greased cookie sheets.

Step 5: Place inside the oven and bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes.

Step 6: Meanwhile for the icing, combine the sifted confectioner’s sugar, vanilla, and water. Stir until the mixture is creamy.

Step 7: Remove the cookies from the oven and dip each cookie into the icing, then, sprinkle with trim.

Step 8: Place the dipped cookies on a wire rack. Making sure to line the wire rack first with wax paper to collect the dripping icing and sprinkles from the cookies.

Beans and bacon? I can testify that even your pickiest eaters will dig this, trust me because I have one myself. This is one of my family’s favorite. My go-to whenever I need something quick, easy, and delicious. And it’s bacon and no one can say no to bacon. This recipe calls for only a few simple and readily available ingredients. So you’ll not find any excuses not to try this. I have been making this for years now, even shared the recipe to a lot of my friends. This is a must-try and a keeper.

Every time, I make this, I have everyone begging for more. Always the plates are empty clean. This Crack Green Beans is the perfect side for almost anything! The sauce is the real ass-kicker – sweet, savory, and the aroma of this dish is super appetizing. A crowd favorite, to die for, and an excellent rotation to your usual weekly sides. because of this dish, you’ll never look green beans the same way again. In my opinion, this recipe is one of the top recipes I enjoyed with green beans. Dress up those beans and make a mouthwatering dish that your whole family will love.

5 (8-ounce) cans of green beans, drained

12 slices bacon, chopped, cooked to crisp, and drained

2/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup butter, melted

7 teaspoons soy sauce

1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

HOW TO MAKE CRACK GREEN BEANS

Step 1: Drain the beans and transfer them in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Step 2: Add the cooked pieces of bacon in the pan.

Step 3: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, butter, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Then, pour this over the beans and bacon.

Step 4: Place inside the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for about 40 minutes.

Step 5: Remove from the oven and toss to coat and mix.

Step 6: Serve and enjoy!
