2-Ingredient Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge

Prep: 5 mins | Additional: 10 mins | Total: 15 mins | Servings: 4 | Yield: 4 servings

This is the easiest and quickest treat I’ve made in my entire existence! Peanut butter and maple syrup are the only ingredients you need. Yes, that is right! This is a 2-ingredient treat that you can make in a heartbeat!

I have been obsessed with this treat for too long. You’ll think that this may be overly sweet, or will it taste good? And the answer is a big fat yes! Yes, this is absolutely delish and perfectly sweet. Peanut butter alone is delicious, add in some maple syrup, and you have yourself a real treat! I am not a fan of smooth peanut butter, but you can use any kind. Me, I prefer chunky peanut butter over anything else! My kids love these minis. They are super addicting, especially if you love peanut butter that much. Peanut butter is a staple at my home, and maple syrup is a necessity because my kids put this on anything! So making these lovely fudge at home is as easy as eating them.

Ingredients

½ cup peanut butter

¼ cup maple syrup

2 eaches sheets parchment paper

How to make 2-Ingredient Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge

Step 1: Combine the maple syrup and peanut butter in a medium mixing bowl until well mixed. Shift this into a single sheet of parchment paper.

Step 2: Top with another piece of parchment paper and press to flatten the mixture onto the surface.

Step 3: Freeze for about 10 minutes or until hard before cutting into small squares.

Note:

In place of smooth peanut butter, you can use chunky peanut butter if desired.

written by Rebecca

Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 30 mins | Additional: 2 hrs | Total: 2 hrs 40 mins | Servings: 4 | Yield: 4 pork chops

These root beer chops are pure genius! Tender, juicy pork chops marinated in a savoury sauce and grilled to perfection. Simply delicious and worth trying. This dish is something to keep!

Ingredients

4 eaches (1-inch thick) pork chops

3 (12 fluid ounce) cans or bottles of root beer

1 pinch salt and pepper to taste

1 cup beef stock

2 tablespoons brown sugar

½ teaspoon chipotle-flavoured hot sauce

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 pinch salt, to taste

How to make Root Beer Pork Chops

Step 1: Place the pork chops in a large dish. Pour over 2 cans of root beer. Put the dish in the fridge and marinate the chops for at least 2 hours.

Step 2: When ready, take the chops out of the fridge and season with salt and pepper.

Step 3: Add the beef stock, the remaining root beer, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar in a saucepan. Stir until incorporated and allow to simmer over medium heat until the mixture is reduced to about 3/4 cup. Set aside.

Step 4: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill with oil and cook the pork chops for about 8 minutes on every side or until no longer bloody or pinkish. Or if a thermometer is available, use it to test the doneness of the chops. It should register 63 degrees C or 145 degrees F.

Step 5: Brush the pork chops with the sauce and continue to cook for another 2 minutes on each side.

Step 6: Once done, remove the cooked chops from the grill and onto a serving platter.

Step 7: If needed, season with salt and pepper.
