ALMOND STUFFED CRESCENT ROLLS

All the ingredients in this recipe complement very well with each other to make the best treats for you today! These Almond Stuffed Crescent Rolls are just pure joy in each bite! They will satisfy your cravings for sure! Ready in less than 30 minutes, this recipe is surely a must-try!

Ingredients:

2-3 tsp of milk

1/2 tsp almond extract

1 c powdered sugar

sliced almonds, optional

3 ounces almond paste

1 can (8 ounces) crescent rolls

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Line parchment paper to the inside of a cookie sheet.

Cut the dough into 8 even triangles and the almond paste into rectangles.

Lay a slice of almond paste over the triangle. Roll it up. Repeat the process with the rest. Place them onto the prepared cookie sheet and arrange them in a single layer.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the rolls for about 12 to 14 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Remove the rolls from the oven and allow them to cool for at least 5 minutes at room temperature.

In a mixing bowl, add almond extract, 2 tsp milk, and powdered sugar. Whisk everything until well incorporated. Add more milk if the texture is too thick. Pour the glaze over the rolls.

Scatter the almond slices over the rolls.

Serve right away. Enjoy!
