Easy Beef and Broccoli that you can make at home in under thirty minutes. So much better than taking out and the best if you love Chinese food!

1 1/2 lbs flank steak thinly sliced against the grain
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp Water
1/4 tsp baking soda
3 c. broccoli florets
1 tbsp canola oil
Sauce:
1/4 c. soy sauce low sodium
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp oyster sauce
6 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1/2 c. beef broth
2 tsp cornstarch
How to make Beef and Broccoli
Step 1: Against the grain, thinly slice the flank steak.
Step 2: Whisk a tbsp oyster sauce, a tbsp corn starch, a tbsp water, and 1/4 tsp baking soda in a large bowl. Then, add in the sliced, toss to coat, and set aside.
Step 3: Combine the sauce ingredients (soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, beef broth, and cornstarch). Set aside.
Step 4: Add a tbsp canola oil in a heated large skillet. Heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the flank steak in batches. Cook the bottom for about 2 minutes. Stir, then cook for 2 to 3 minutes further until the beef is brown.
Step 5: Into the pan, add the broccoli and stir. Cover the pan with the lid and cook the broccoli for about 3 minutes until bright green crisp-tender.
Step 6: When done, remove from the heat, stir, then serve. Enjoy!
Note:
You can replace the oyster sauce with a tbsp soy sauce plus a tbsp brown sugar.
