My daughter can eat these delicious baked chicken legs every day! She is obsessed with these tender, juicy, crispy skin drumsticks. The chicken is tossed in seasonings, then baked to perfection. These drumsticks are perfect to pair with just about anything. If preferred, you can store these drumsticks in the fridge for up to four days. Although, the skin won’t be crispy so I prefer to remove the meat from the bone and use it in salads or sandwiches.
These baked chicken legs are one of my family’s favourite dinners. The incredible flavour and crispy skin are always a hit. I love that I can throw these baked chicken legs together using only pantry staples and in no time. This dish is the perfect switch-up for your regular chicken meal!

INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 chicken drumsticks about 2 pounds
Seasonings:
¼ teaspoon chilli powder
1 ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
How to make Baked Chicken Legs
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees F.
Step 2: Using aluminium foil, line a baking sheet and lightly grease with non-stick cooking oil. Set aside.
Step 3: Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels. Into a bowl or resealable plastic bag, place the drumsticks and add the oil. Toss to coat the drumsticks.
Step 4: Combine the seasonings in a small bowl. Add this to the drumsticks and toss until coated.
Step 5: On the prepared baking sheet, place the drumsticks. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 to 45 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reached 165 degrees or higher.
Note:
Store the baked chicken in the fridge for up to four days. Reheat before serving (note that the skin won’t be as crispy). Or you can pull the meat off the bone and use it for salads or sandwiches.
