ALL-BUTTER POUND CAKE

This is an awesome recipe if you are looking for an easy-pound cake recipe. I cannot remember how long I have been making this cake, but this has never failed me. It is a great pound cake recipe even for beginners. It is made with only a few ingredients that we already have in hand. If you are into a heavy and dense cake, then make sure to not miss this all-butter pound cake. Enjoy a slice of this soft, buttery, and delicious dessert for breakfast or snack with a cup of your favourite brewed coffee. This melt-in-your-mouth dessert is also perfect if you are expecting company. Give this a try very soon, I am sure you’ll love this as much as we do!

Ingredients

1 ½ cups butter, softened

5 eggs

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups white sugar

½ teaspoon salt

HOW TO MAKE ALL-BUTTER POUND CAKE

Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.

Step 2: Grease a tube pan with the melted butter and sprinkle with flour.

Step 3: Combine the salt, flour, and baking powder in a mixing bowl until well mixed.

Step 4: Add the butter and sugar to a large mixing bowl. Beat until well incorporated. Then, add the eggs one at a time, beating every after each addition until well blended.

Step 5: Into the creamed mixture, transfer the flour mixture and mix until well combined. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 6: Into the prepared pan, pour the batter and evenly spread. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean.

Step 7: When done, take the cake out of the oven and let it cool fully at room temperature.

Step 8: Slice the cake and serve. Enjoy!
