Step 7: Pour the batter into the prepared pans. Plae inside the preheated oven and bale for about 30 to 35 minutes, layered or 50 to 60 minutes, if pound. The cake is done when the toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Step 8: Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 15 minutes. Then, carefully invert onto a cooling rack to cool completely.

For the Frosting

Step 1: Place the softened butter, lime zest, vanilla extract, and salt in a mixing bowl. Beat until creamy.

Step 2: Slowly add the powdered sugar, alternating it with the key lime juice, 1 tablespoon at a time, and 1 tablespoon milk. Beat at a slow speed until well blended and smooth. You can tablespoons of milk to reach your desired consistency.

Step 3: Frost the cake and garnish with key lime and kiwi slices. Enjoy

written by Rebecca

This is another incredible crockpot recipe to add to your long list of menu. The tender meat, creamy sauce with mushroom is perfect for a weeknight dinner with family and friends. A crockpot is way to easy to make but takes time to cook. Best suited for mothers like me as we get to do other things. Just mix everything in one pot and leave it to cook. Before you know it dinner is ready!

I cannot count how many times I’ve made this Beef Stroganoff and it’s always a hit every time! No leftovers, just dirty dishes. A straight 5-star dish! The meat effortlessly falls apart, and juicy in the inside, with a deep flavor that you cannot get elsewhere. A melt in your mouth dish with a magnificent sauce that is perfect for a regular weeknight dinner with family and great to share with guests.

Ingredients

2 pounds cubed stew meat

2 cans Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup

1 largish onion diced

2-3-4 tables of Worcestershire

1/2 cup water

8 oz of cream cheese

a couple of dashes of Garlic Salt (1 teaspoon)

couple dashes of Hot Paprika

How to make Crockpot Beef Stroganoff

Step 1: Place the mushroom soup, diced onion, Worcestershire, water, garlic salt, and a couple of dashes of hot paprika in a slow cooker. Stir until well combined.

Step 2: Add in the meat mixture and mix until incorporated.

Step 3: Cook for 8 hours in low.

Step 4: Meanwhile, cut the cream cheese into cubes.

Step 5: Turn the crockpot on high and scatter the cubed cream cheese on top of the mixture. Mix until incorporated. Put the lid back and cook for 10 minutes more.

Step 6: Place any leftover inside the fridge and when ready to eat just reheat on the stove. You can add the cream cheese 10 minutes before serving. This is great when chilled as the meat becomes so much more tender when reheated.

The Pioneer Woman’s Cinnamon Rolls – Perfect For Family Breakfast!

by Rebecca June 8, 2020
written by Rebecca

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I taught my kids to not skip it so I make sure to prepare healthy and beautiful treats to begin the day. And my family’s favorite breakfast is this perfectly baked and sweet Cinnamon Rolls. These beauties are fluffy, super soft, and delicious! Start your day with a bite and that smile will never leave your face for the entire day!

INGREDIENTS

1 quart Whole Milk

1 cup Vegetable Oil

1 cup Sugar

2 packages Active Dry Yeast

8 cups (Plus 1 Cup Extra, Separated) All-purpose Flour

1 teaspoon (heaping) Baking Powder

1 teaspoon (scant) Baking Soda

1 Tablespoon (heaping) Salt

3 cups (to 4 Cups) Melted Butter

2 cups Sugar

Generous Sprinkling Of Cinnamon

FOR THE MAPLE FROSTING

1 bag Powdered Sugar

2 teaspoons Maple Flavoring

½ cups Milk

¼ cups Melted Butter

¼ cups Brewed Coffee

⅛ teaspoons Salt

How to make The Pioneer Woman’s Cinnamon Rolls

Place the milk, vegetable oil, and sugar in a pan. Mix until incorporated and heat until just the boiling.

Turn the heat off and let the mixture cool for 45 minutes to an hour.

Once the mixture is cooled, sprinkle with the Active Dry Yeasts and leave it for a minute.

Add in 8 cups of all-purpose flour to the mixture and stir until combined.

Cover the dish and let it rise for an hour.

After an hour, add another cup of flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until incorporated. When not ready to use yet, you can cover the dough and place it inside the fridge. If it starts to overflow just punch it down.

When ready to prepare on the same day, lay the dough on a floured surface.

Take half of the dough and form a triangle, and roll until thin yet still maintaining a rectangular shape.

Drizzle the rectangular shaped dough with 1 1/2 to 2 cups of melted butter and sprinkle with 1 cup of sugar, then, dust with a generous amount of cinnamon.

Roll in a neat line toward you starting at the opposite end. Make sure to roll as tight as possible and pinch the seam to seal.

Grease a 7-inch round foil cake or pie pan with 1 tablespoon of melted butter.

Meanwhile, cut the rolls at about 3/4 to an inch thick and layer them in the buttered pans. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough.

Let the rolls rise first for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Then, place inside the oven and bake at 375 degrees for about 15 to 18 minutes or until light brown.

To make the frosting, mix the powdered sugar, maple flavoring, milk, melted butter, brewed coffee, and salt. Stir until incorporated and smooth. You are looking for a thick but pourable consistency. Adjust the taste as needed.

Lavishly drizzle the frosting over the warm rolls and serve. Enjoy!

When I first made this I didn’t know what to expect, yet I was so excited because it’s different, something I haven’t tried before. And the result was surprisingly good, fresh! You can use red tomatoes as well for this, although, use those that are not overly ripe or they will be mushy. Bring these babies outside and serve these with fresh lemon juice or iced tea for a refreshing taste of summer. Share this with your friends or loved ones, I assure you they will sit there, agape, on how yummy these fried green tomatoes are!

INGREDIENTS

4 large green tomatoes

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cornmeal

1/2 cup bread crumbs

2 teaspoons coarse kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1-quart vegetable oil for frying

How to make Fried Green Tomatoes

Step 1: Slice in half-inch thick the tomatoes and discard the ends.

Step 2: In a medium-size bowl, mix the eggs and milk. And scoop some flour onto a plate.

Step 3: In another plate, mix the cornmeal, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper.

Step 4: Coat the cut tomatoes first into the flour. Then, dip it into the milk and egg mixture. And lastly, completely coat the tomatoes in breadcrumbs.

Step 5: Pour the vegetable oil in a large skillet just enough to have 1/2 inch oil in the pan and heat over medium heat.

Step 6: Once the oil is hot, drop tomatoes into the frying pan in batches of 4 or 5 depends on the size of the skillet that you are using. Make sure though to not overcrowd and that the tomatoes should not touch each other.

Step 7: Fry until the tomatoes are browned, then flip to brown the other side. Once cooked, drain the tomatoes on paper towels.

Steak anyone? But this, not your typical steak. This might be one of the best steak recipes I have ever tried! Steaks are perfect the way it is but if you were to smother it with a nice thick and delicious gravy, well, it’s beyond perfect! I usually eat this dish with mashed potatoes. It complements well with the gravy and steaks. I have simplified the steps for you so you’d have no trouble in cooking. All you need to do is to get the ingredients and follow. 3 Cups Sliced Mushrooms

1 Small Onion, halved and sliced (1/2 a Large)

Kosher Salt

Black pepper

Texas Cajun Seasoning

Flour

2 cups Chicken Stock

1/4 teaspoon thyme

Vegetable Oil

HOW TO MAKE SMOTHERED CUBE STEAK

Step 1: Prepare and wash the vegetables.

Step 2: Place the cube steaks on a large plate. Season both sides of the steaks with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of Texas Cajun Seasoning. Add 2 tablespoons of flour and coat both sides of the steaks lightly.

Step 3: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add 1/2 cup of oil and wait for it to become hot. When the oil is hot enough, slowly put the cube steaks. Cook for 3 minutes on both sides. Remove the steak and place it on a clean plate.

Step 5: Add 2 tablespoons of flour and stir continuously until the vegetables are fully coated.

Step 6: Pour in the chicken stock and stir until all ingredients are blended. Turn the heat to medium-high. When the sauce is thick, turn off the heat.

Step 7: Put the cube steaks back and coat it well with the gravy. Serve and enjoy!
