This Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf is everyone’s favorite

Enjoy Philly Cheesesteak in a whole new level of amazing. Everyone’s favourite, this juicy, cheesy stuffed meatloaf is incredible in and out. Slightly crispy cheese on top and juicy inside with tons of melty cheese. – this is excellent with some garlic mashed potato and slices of bread roll

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb lean ground beef

1 large onion, chopped

1 green bell pepper, chopped small

1/2 c of whole milk

1/2 c mushrooms chopped (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 c bread crumbs (regular, Italian style or Panko)

1 large Egg

1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon Adobo seasoning

3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

8 slices (thick cut) of mozzarella OR provolone cheese

How to make This Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf is everyone’s favourite

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Saute the diced onion and peppers in a medium skillet with oil until tender.

Step 3: Once the onion and peppers are done, place them in a large mixing bowl with the other ingredients including the ground beef and milk. But leave the sliced cheese for later. Mix with your hands until completely incorporated.

Step 4: Using spam spray, butter, or olive oil, lightly grease a loaf pan. Place half of the mixture into the pan and top with 4 slices of cheese (of your choice).

Step 5: On top of the cheeses, add the rest of the meat mixture. Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes.

Step 6: Take the meatloaf out of the oven, then top with the remaining 4 slices of cheese and sprinkle with parsley.

Step 7: Bake further for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted (and a bit crispy, if desired).

Step 8: When done, take the meatloaf out of the oven. Allow cooling for a couple of minutes before removing it from the pan.

Step 9: Serve and enjoy!
