Succulent pork tenderloin smothered in a crazy delicious savoury-sweet balsamic glaze. This is a very delightful dish perfect to serve with your favourite side for a filling weeknight meal or for entertaining!

Ingredients

Glaze:

2 tbsp soy sauce

½ c. brown sugar

¼ c. balsamic vinegar

1 tbsp cornstarch

½ c. water

Pork:

2 (1 1/2 lbs.) pork tenderloins

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 ½ tsp ground sage

1 tbsp olive oil, or as needed

¾ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

How to make Brown Sugar and Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Step 1: In a small saucepan, whisk the brown sugar, water, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and cornstarch over medium heat. Cook for about 4 to 6 minutes, stirring until the mixture has thickened. Set aside when done.

Step 2: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. Then, oil a 9 x 13-inch baking sheet.

Step 3: In a small bowl, mix the garlic, sage, salt, and pepper. On the pork tenderloin, rub the garlic mixture.

Step 4: In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, place the tenderloin into the skillet and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes per side until evenly browned. To the prepared baking sheet, transfer the pork when done, then coat with the balsamic glaze.

Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake the tenderloin for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and flip the pork. Brush the other side with the glaze and continue baking for additional 20 minutes until the meat is a little pink in the middle of the internal temperature of the meat reached at least 145 degrees F or 63 degrees C.

Step 6: Remove from the oven when done and transfer the tenderloin to a platter. Let the meat rest for about 10 minutes, then drizzle with a bit of glaze. Slice and serve the tenderloin with the rest of the glaze on the side. Enjoy!
