12 Hawaiian Rolls
1/2 medium yellow onion sliced
1 clove garlic minced
1/2 large green bell pepper sliced
2 oz. fresh mushrooms minced
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/3 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp bacon grease
3/4 c. Cheez Whiz
6 slices provolone cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
Garlic Butter:
3 tbsp salted butter melted
1 tbsp Italian parsley minced
1/4 tsp roasted garlic powder
How to make The Best Philly Cheesesteak Sliders Ever
Step 1: Mince the garlic and mushrooms, then slice the onion, and bell peppers.
Step 2: Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips, leaving as much fat as you can on the meat.
Step 3: In a large skillet, heat the bacon grease or olive oil. Once hot, add the garlic, onion, mushrooms, and bell pepper to the skillet and saute for approximately minutes until tender. Set aside.
Step 4: Now, add the steak to the skillet along with the salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Continue to cook until the meat is almost cooked.
Step 5: Add the veggies, stir, and simmer until the meat is completely cooked.
Step 6: In half, slice the Hawaiian Rolls. In a greased baking dish or baking sheet, place the bottom layer of the rolls. Spread the mayo on the bottom of the rolls, then add a layer of provolone cheese. On top, add the meat and vegetables.
Step 7: To every single slider, add a dollop of Cheez Whiz, then top with the top layer of the rolls.
Step 8: Combine the melted butter with roasted garlic powder, and minced parsley. Then, brush the tops of the rolls with this, then sprinkle with more Italian parsley.
Step 9: Using aluminium foil, tent the rolls. Place in a 350 degrees F oven and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Remove the foil and continue to bake for 5 to 10 minutes more.
Step 10: Remove from the oven when done and serve the sliders warm. Enjoy!
