by Rebecca August 19, 2021

Prep time: 30 mins | Cook time: 20 mins | Yields: 48 meatballs (1 1/2 inch in width)

This is the perfect recipe for the best meatballs that fits all occasions! My go-to and favourite meatball recipe. I love how I can make these using any type of meat. Easily jazz this up and adjust according to your preference. No matter, this guarantees the best meatballs you’ll ever make!

Follow few simple steps below to throw a batch of these meatballs using only mild ingredients that go so well with any type of meat. It’s a pretty straightforward recipe that you can easily double or half. Enjoy freshly baked meatballs whenever with this simple recipe.

INGREDIENTS

3/4 c. panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 pound ground beef

1 pound ground pork

2 Egg, lightly beaten

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced

HOW TO MAKE THE BEST MEATBALLS
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees. And using aluminium foil, line two baking sheets and set them aside.

Step 2: Sift the panko breadcrumbs, smoked paprika, chilli powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Then, add the ground beef along with the ground pork, egg, olive oil, and garlic. Mix or knead with a spatula or using your hands until the meat is completely combined with the dry ingredients.

Step 3: Scoop out the meat mixture using a tsp cookie scoop and form using your hands. Alternately, just pinch off the same amount and form. As you roll the meat mixture into a ball, gently press it to keep the balls in shape. Pinch any seams in the meatballs to close, then roll between your hands for about 10 to 20 seconds (for each meatball) until smooth.

Step 4: On the prepared baking sheet, place the meatballs. Make sure that the pieces are not touching. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.
