4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 c low-sodium soy sauce
1/2 c water
3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons honey
3 teaspoons cornstarch
sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
How to make Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl
Step 1: In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Step 2: Once the oil is hot, add the cubed chicken to the skillet. Cook until brown.
Step 3: In the meantime, place the soy sauce, water, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch in a medium-size mixing bowl. Whisk to combine.
