15.5 ounces salsa
1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning (add 1 extra packet for more flavour)
½ c. shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese

How to make Taco Pasta Casserole
Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the pasta. Drain when done and set aside.
Step 2: Brown the meat in a dutch oven or cast-iron skillet. Drain the excess fat when done.
Step 3: To the drained meat, add the cooked pasta, then layer it with the meat. You can move everything to a casserole dish if you are not using a dutch oven or cast-iron skillet. Over the meat, sprinkle the seasoning packet. Next, pour the water over, then add the salsa. Stir, then top the casserole with shredded cheese.
Step 4: Place the casserole in a 400 degrees oven and bake for about 18 to 22 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the sauce is bubbly.
Step 5: Remove from the oven when done and serve the casserole straight from the oven with any taco-style toppings you prefer. Enjoy!
