PREP TIME: 10 MINS | COOK TIME: 15 MINS | TOTAL TIME: 25 MINS | SERVINGS: 4

I’m drooling just looking at this crazy delicious Mongolian beef! It tastes exactly like just P.F, Changs with its insanely tender beef with perfectly crispy seared edges coated in the most delicious bold sticky sauce. It’s super easy to make using only a few ingredients. Not to mention this Mongolian beef is ready in less than thirty minutes making this excellent even on the busiest days!

I’m crazy over this melt-in-your-mouth Mongolian beef. I always served this over rice with my favourite veggies on the side for an easy, quick, and filling meal. This dish has the most amazing flavour that you’ll crave over and over. And it’s a million better than take out!

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs flank steak sliced thin

1/4 c. cornstarch

3 tbsp vegetable oil

1/2 c. low sodium soy sauce

1/2 c. brown sugar

1/4 c. water

1 tsp minced ginger

3 garlic cloves minced

pinch of red pepper flakes

green onions sliced for garnish

HOW TO MAKE SUPER EASY MONGOLIAN BEEF

Step 1: Add the sliced flank and cornstarch to a large Ziplock bag. Toss the beef until evenly coated in cornstarch.

Step 2: Add the vegetable oil in a heated large skillet over high heat. In a single layer, add the steak to the hot oil and cook for about a minute per side until the edges of the steak just begin to brown. Transfer the cooked steak to a plate when done.

Step 3: Place the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, ginger, and garlic in a small mixing bowl. Whisk well until mixed. Add this to the sauce and bring to a boil. Return the steak to the skillet and cook along with the sauce for a few minutes until the sauce has thickened.

Step 4: Before serving, toss the Mongolian Beef with chopped green onions and sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Enjoy!
