This lip-smacking, finger-licking good Sticky Hoisin Chicken is a must-try! You will not mind getting your hands dirty because all you want is to enjoy every bit of this savoury dish. The best part is, this is made with just a few simple ingredients, and it is ready in minutes! You can forget take-out because this here is a million better than them!
This Sticky Hoisin Chicken exceeded all my expectations! The first time I made this, my family went nuts! Thus, this immediately became one of our favourite rotations. Hoisin sauce is an Asian version of ketchup and barbecue sauce. It is sweet but not overly sweet. It clothed the chicken perfectly, giving us that smacking sticky-sauce appeal that no one can say no to!

2 tbsp minced garlic (about 12 small cloves)
3 tbsp rice wine or white wine
1/2 c. hoisin sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
4 bone-in skin-on chicken breasts halves (about 3 lbs.)
How to make Sticky Hoisin Chicken
Step 1: Place the hoisin sauce, wine, ketchup, soy sauce, and garlic in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
Step 2: After getting the excess fat from the chicken breasts, place them in the bowl with the hoisin sauce mixture. Toss to coat the chicken well, then store in the fridge for about 10 minutes to marinate.
Step 3: Once ready to bake, ready the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.
Step 4: Tent a jelly roll pan using foil. Place the chicken into the pan skin-side-up, then spoon the marinade on top. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake the chicken for about 40 to 50 minutes or until the juices run clear and the internal temperature of the chicken reached 170 degrees.
Step 5: Remove the pan from the oven when done and shift the chicken to a platter. Serve the chicken warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
