by Rebecca January 30, 2021

PREP TIME: 10 mins | COOK TIME: 10 mins | TOTAL TIME: 20 mins | SERVINGS: 4

A quick and easy steak marinade that needs just simple pantry ingredients. The perfect marinade for grilling up flavorful, juicy, and the most tender steak.

Are you ready for a mouthwatering meal? Brace yourself because this marinade will give you the best steak of your life!

INGREDIENTS

3 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

1/3 cup soy sauce low sodium

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup light brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 tablespoon honey

1 1/2 pounds steaks (you can use Sirloin, Ribeye or New York Cut Steaks)

How to make Steak Marinade

Step 1: Combine all the ingredients (Worcestershire Sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar. Ground black pepper, garlic powder, and honey) in a small bowl.

Step 2: To a resealable zip lock bag or large bowl, add the steaks and pour in the marinade. Before sealing the bag, squeeze as much air as you can.

Step 3: Marinate the steaks for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Step 4: Preheat the skillet over high heat. Once hot, add the steak to the skillet and sear for about 3 minutes per side.

Step 5: Adjust the heat to medium-high and cook the steaks to your liking. The cooking time varies depending on the thickness of the steak.

Step 6: Alternately, you can cook the steaks on the grill. Preheat to medium-high, then cook the steaks on the grill for about 4 to 6 minutes per side or until the internal temperature of the steak reads 145 degrees F (for medium).

Step 7: When done, allow the steaks to rest for at least 3 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
