by Rebecca December 26, 2020

Stacked Steak Fajita is a fun way to impress everybody. Perfect for any occasion, this dish will surely grab the attention of everyone! A no-fuss, super simple fajita dish that is worth trying and to keep.

I made this on Christmas eve, and my kids went crazy! They love this so much and requested to make this again the next day. Sure, this here is one heck of a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

2 lbs skirt steak, thinly sliced

2 tbsp cumin

2 tbsp paprika

1 tbsp salt

2 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp dried oregano

1/2 orange juice

1/4 c lime juice

2 large onions, one thinly sliced and one whole

2 bell peppers, thinly sliced

2 red bell peppers, thinly sliced

2 tbsp olive oil

Tortillas, warm

Cilantro

Lime wedges

How to make Stacked Steak Fajita

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees.

Step 2: Add the steak, cumin, paprika, salt, garlic powder, and dried oregano in a large bowl. Stir in the orange juice and lime juice.

Step 3: Massage the mixture on the entire steak until evenly coated and set aside.

Step 4: Slice the onion in half. In the middle of a rimmed baking sheet, add one side down. In the centre of the onion, place a large bamboo skewer.

Step 5: Layer the steak and top with the other half of the onion. On the baking sheet, lay the sliced onion and peppers and drizzle with olive oil.

Step 6: Place inside the preheated oven. Bake for about 35 to 40 minutes or until completely cooked.

Step 7: Once done, remove from the oven and slice off the meat.

Step 8: Into a warmed tortilla, add the meat and top with peppers and onions. Before serving, garnish with cilantro and fresh lime juice. Enjoy!
