1 cup milk
2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
4 teaspoons garlic salt
2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cup all-purpose flour
HOW TO MAKE SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN
Step 1: In a bowl, add the egg and milk. Beat until combined.
Step 2: In a big plastic bag, combine the flour, garlic salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, and paprika.
Step 3: Add the chicken in the bag and completely seal. Shake to coat the chicken.
Step 4: Then, dip each floured-coated chicken first in the egg mixture, then, in the flour mixture.
Step 5: In a skillet, heat the oil to about 365 degrees F.
Step 6: Once the oil is hot, add the chicken and cook on every side until browned.
Step 7: Adjust the heat to medium-low and continue cooking the chicken for half an hour more or until cooked through.
Step 8: Transfer the chicken on paper towels to drain.
