A super easy to make green beans smothered in brown sugar, butter, soy sauce, and garlic topped with crispy bacon. Excellent for potlucks and get together. Everyone loves this and always go back for a second take. So deliciously addicting, everybody went nuts on the first bite. I made plenty and have some leftovers. Ate them the next day and it still great!

Ingredients
5 (15-oz) cans green beans, drained
1 lb bacon
⅔ cup brown sugar
¼ cup of butter melted
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
1½ tsp garlic powder
HOW TO MAKE SMOTHERED GREEN BEANS
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: In an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan, pour the drained green beans.
Step 3: Cook the bacon in a large skillet until nearly done but not too crispy. Once cooked, transfer on paper towels to drain before chopping.
Step 4: Sprinkle the pieces of bacon over the green beans.
Step 5: In a small bowl, whisk the brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce, and garlic powder until combined. And pour this on top of the green beans and bacon.
Step 6: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes.
