Ingredients
1 deep-dish pie crust
2 large sweet potatoes (cooked)
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup of sugar
2 Eggs
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg or to taste
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 cup of pet milk
How to make Smooth Sweet Potato Pie
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees.
Step 2: Place the cooked sweet potatoes in a medium bowl. Beat until smooth.
Step 3: Stir in the butter and sugar until incorporated.
Step 4: Add in the eggs a piece at a time, beating every after each addition.
Step 5: Beat in the nutmeg, salt, and milk, followed by sour cream, vanilla extract, and flour. Mix well.
Step 6: Transfer the filling into a pie crust. Place inside the preheated oven.
Step 7: Bake for approximately 60 to 65 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle of the pie comes out clean.
Step 8: Remove the pie from the oven once done baking and allow to cool completely.
Step 9: Slice, serve, and enjoy!
