2 tablespoons canola oil

4 c. beef broth
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

HOW TO MAKE SLOW COOKER STEAK SOUP
Step 1: In a large ziplock bag, combine the roast, flour, salt, and pepper. Seal the bag and shake to coat the beef.
Step 2: In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
Step 3: Take the beef out of the ziplock bag and discard any excess flour mixture. In the hot oil, saute the beef for about 5 minutes until brown.
Step 4: Into a slow cooker, transfer the meat. Add in the onion soup mix, beef broth, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 8 hours until the beef is tender.
Step 5: To the slow cooker, add the noodles. Cover and cook for another 15 to 30 minutes on a low setting until the noodles are tender.
Note:
You can cook the meat the night before and just place them in the slow cooker the next day.
