Are you looking for a great dinner that will not break the bank? I have tons of that because, why not? But today, I want to share one of my favourite and go-to, this slow cooker pork chops and rice. It’s a complete meal that you can prep in under ten minutes and simply let your slow cooker do the rest. This easy recipe is another excellent way to jazz up your pork chops. I have seen and tried so many pork chop recipes, and I will always vouch for these pork chops and rice. It is a super good, filling, hearty, and nutritious meal that is perfect for the entire family!

Ingredients

1 stick of butter, cubed

4 boneless pork chops

1 c. water

2 c. chicken broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 – 10.5 ounces can cream of mushroom soup

1 teaspoon dried onion flakes

1 c. water (to add toward the end with the rice)

2 c. rice (long-grain white rice)

1 to 1-1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

How to make Slow Cooker Pork Chops and Rice

Step 1: Using a nonstick spray, grease your slow cooker. Add the pork chops to the slow cooker followed by mushroom soup, chicken broth, water, garlic powder, onion flakes, salt, and pepper. On top, add the cubed stick of butter.

Step 2: Cover and set to cook for 7 hours on low.

Step 3: Remove the lid when done and shred the pork chops using a fork.

Step 4: To the slow cooker, add the rice with one more cup of water. Stir well, making sure the rice is completely covered with liquid.

Step 5: Cover and continue to cook for another 45 minutes to an hour on high until the rice is done.

Step 6: Then, add the shredded cheese and stir well.

Step 7: Serve immediately when done. Enjoy!

Note:

Depending on your preference, you can add about 1 or 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese.
