1 tsp minced garlic
1 1/2 lbs flank steak thinly sliced against the grain
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1/2 c. low sodium soy sauce
1/2 c. water
1 tsp minced ginger
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. green onions, cut into 1/2” pieces
1/4 c. cornstarch
How to make Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef
Step 1: In a bowl, place the flank steak. Add the cornstarch and toss to evenly coat the meat. To your slow cooker, add the flank steak, then add the sesame oil, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, and water. Stir well and make sure to coat the meat in the sauce.
Step 2: Put the lid on and set to cook for 2 to 3 hours on HIGH or 4 to 5 hours on LOW.
Step 3: Before serving, stir in the green onions. Enjoy!
