And this recipe checked all the marks for an easy, no-fuss, delicious, and healthy meal in one. No doubt the perfect meal for every household and a keeper!

Ingredients

2 1/2 pounds bone-in chicken thighs

2 tablespoons cooking oil

1 1/2 pounds Yukon gold potatoes diced

1 pound green beans ends snipped

2 garlic cloves minced

8 ounces can tomato sauce (not paste)

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

How to make Slow Cooker Full Chicken Dinner

Step 1: Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Swirl to coat the bottom of the pan. Add the chicken to the pan once the oil is hot and cook until both sides are brown. Remember that you do not need to cook the meat through.

Step 2: To the bottom of a slow cooker, add the diced potatoes and green beans, then toss to combine. On top, add the chicken thighs followed by the garlic, tomato sauce, and season with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. Smear the sauce around using a spatula to try to combine the seasoning into the sauce.

Step 3: Cover with the lid, set the timer to 4 1/2, and cook on high, undisturbed.

Notes:

For this recipe, you can also use boneless skinless chicken, simply add a cup of chicken broth.

You can substitute the Yukon gold potatoes with any varieties of potato.
