Slow-Cooker Chicken Teriyaki

A stress-free, hands-free, dump-and-go recipe for the most mouthwatering Chicken Teriyaki. Perfect for busy bees and busy days, this slow cooker genius is a keeper. Enjoy over white rice for a satisfying dinner or alongside steamed veggies for a light meal.

It’s nice that this time we don’t have to worry about meal preparation. There are so many recipes we can run to. And thanks to our trusted slow cooker, cooking does not feel like a chore anymore. I love to cook but most of the time I don’t have the luxury to spend hours in the kitchen. For a working mom like me, I have to manage my time well.

I have tons of easy recipes. Call it my collection. I have my favourites, my go-to including this Chicken Teriyaki recipe. I used to prepare it differently not after I read about this slow cooker version. Same goodness with little to no effort to prepare. I even shared this with friends and they love it! With my trusty slow cooker, I can now prep delicious, satisfying meals like never before. The chicken turns out just right every time and the sauce is just wow!

INGREDIENTS

1 lb chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, diced

1 c. chicken broth

1/2 c. teriyaki sauce

1/3 c. brown sugar

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp sesame seeds

How to make Slow-Cooker Chicken Teriyaki

Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the chicken broth, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, sesame seeds, and garlic.

Step 2: To the sauce, add the chicken and toss to evenly coat.

Step 3: Into the Crock-Pot, transfer the chicken mixture. Set on low and cook for 4 to 6 hours until the chicken is cooked through.

Step 4: Enjoy over hot cooked rice.
