This has been one of my go-to and favourite weeknight dinners as I can easily and quickly whip this up any time or day. For this recipe, you can make homemade gravy instead of using a packet of ready mix gravy. This is so good even your pickiest eaters will devour this amazing Salisbury steak!

Ingredients
Patties:
2 teaspoons Ketchup
1 teaspoon Mustard
1 pound Lean Ground Beef
1/3 c. Bread Crumbs
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Gravy:
1 teaspoon Ketchup
2 c. hot Water
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire
2 packets Brown Gravy Mix
How to make Simple Salisbury Steak
Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the patties ingredients (ketchup, mustard, lean ground beef, bread crumbs, Worcestershire, onion powder, and garlic powder). Using your hands, massage the mixture until everything is mixed.
Step 2: In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the patties to the skillet and cook both sides until no longer pink. Then, adjust the heat to low.
Step 3: Combine the gravy mix and water until well incorporated. Stir in the ketchup and Worcestershire until well blended. Pour this over the patties in the skillet and simmer until the gravy is warm and has thickened.
Note:
For this recipe, use lean ground beef for best results. You can also make homemade gravy if desired.
