Ingredients
1/4 cup butter, melted
4 chicken breasts (depending on how big your chicken breast are)
1 cup milk
6-8 slices of Swiss cheese
1 box Stove Top Stuffing (or other similar boxed stuffing mixes)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN AND STUFFING CASSEROLE
Step 1: Even out the thickness of the chicken by pounding the chicken breast. To do this, place the chicken in between two pieces of plastic wrap. Using a rolling pin or the flat side of a kitchen mallet, pound the chicken. Then, slice each in half.
Step 2: In a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish, place the chicken breasts and top with Swiss cheese slices.
Step 3: Place the soup and milk in a bowl and mix well until combined. Then, pour this over the chicken.
Step 4: On top of the chicken, add the dry stuffing mix, then drizzle with melted butter.
Step 5: Using foil cover the baking dish. Place in a preheated 350 degrees oven and bake the chicken and stuffing for about 45 minutes. Uncover and continue to bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
