This delicious easy Shrimp Boil is one of my favourite recipes. Takes just five minutes to prep and ready in under twenty minutes. Flavoured with Old Bay, Cajun seasoning, and butter, this is no doubt the greatest with shrimp, baby potatoes, corn, and smoked sausage.
Whenever we have friends coming over for a weekend gathering outdoor, we make sure to prepare this. And during the summer, we enjoy this with some ice-cold beer by the lake. A tradition that we plan to keep for generations to come.

INGREDIENTS
Water, for boiling
4 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
8 ounces (226 grams) baby potatoes, cut into halves
2 ears corn on the cob, cut into 2-inch pieces
12 ounces (340 grams) smoked sausage, cut into pieces (Hillshire Smoked Sausage Rope)
1 pound (0.4 kg) shrimp, shelled, deveined, tail-in
1 tbsp chopped parsley, for garnishing
CAJUN BUTTER:
6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (McCormick)
HOW TO MAKE SHRIMP BOIL
Step 1: Fill halfway with water a tall stockpot. Bring this to a rolling boil over high heat. Add in the Old Bay Seasoning, then the baby potatoes and corn. Boil for about 8 to 10 minutes, covered, until the potatoes are tender.
Step 2: Meanwhile, combine the melted butter with Cajun seasoning until well mixed to make the Cajun butter. Set aside.
Step 3: To the pot, add the smoked sausage and shrimp. Continue to boil for about a minute or until the shrimp is pink. Take the pot out of the heat and drain all the ingredients in a colander. If the colander is not big enough, you may need to do this in two batches.
Step 4: Over high heat, heat a skillet. Once hot, add the Cajun butter and the shrimp to boil ingredients. Stir well.
Step 5: On a sheet pan or serving platter, transfer the shrimp boil and garnish with some chopped parsley. Enjoy immediately.
NOTE:
Combine all the ingredients plus the seasonings and spices to make a sheet pan shrimp boil but use only 2 tbsp of Old Bay Seasoning instead of 4. Place in a preheated 425 degrees F or 220 degrees C oven and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes until the shrimp and corn are completely cooked.
